'Ontzettend leuk accommodatie, de gastvrijheid krijgt een dikke 10, de gastvrouw is such a lovely and sweet woman, heel lekker en vers ontbijt. We hebben echt genoten het verblijf daar en ook in Leven!'

'The front desk staff double as restaurant staff - so was challenging to get someone at the front desk when needed. But everyone was friendly'

'Room was small (understandable bearing in mind that it's on a boat) but big enough. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, as was the bar (good selection of cocktails).'

'My single room was immaculately clean, very basic , but suited my needs as a frequent visitor to Aberdour. The breakfast was adequate but my evening meal was home cooked and delightful. It is in a perfect location, just a walk away from the beautiful beach, boutique shops and cafes. The staff are friendly and welcoming and I would say this hotel is perfect for a weekend stay. '

'Spotlessly clean accommodation with a warm and efficient welcome. Shared facilities which again were perfectly clean. Secure entry system and plenty of off-street parking. Only slight issue was thin walls so could hear the next room on mobile phone but it didn't go on late and I had a good night's sleep.'

'Burntisland House is rather old, but well maintained. Room was clean and had a lot of space. Railway station is just a 5 minutes walk, with a direct train to Edinburgh. '

'The property was clean, quiet and comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised to find complimentary milk, bread, jam and tea at the property as well as a welcome note and small reference manual for our stay. Of particular note were the sunrise and sunset ocean views both from the property itself and on the half-mile walk from the property to the train station. If you take the train from Edinburgh to Kinghorn in the evening, you might catch the sunset over the bridge- Gorgeous! We had a lovely time...

'Clean rooms, staff were helpful, though the coffee in the machine a bit watery they had croissants n fruits as complimentary breakfast. All in all a very good stay for the price! '

'The staff is friendly and always available to help. Breakfast was ready in time despite the early hour. The staff was very helpful in letting use my room as long as possible on the check out day. '

'The Fingal is a real gem, such a different hotel experience, it’s like being swept back to the days of the titanic, without the fear of an iceberg ! The staff were amazing, and really went out of their way to accommodate us, despite us being late for dinner. Can’t thank the hotel team enough it was an amazing experience. '
