'Great pub and hotel, good food and nice people , will come back when in the area. Room was clean and comfortable .'

'The bar.'

'Stayed here on business and ticket all the right boxes. The room was a bit warm though, despite that the heat had dropped off these last few days. Nice bar area and nice selection of ales. The restaurant was in a real pretty setting. Easy parking in the vicinity of the hotel and they even had parking spaces in front of the rooms which are at the back of the property. Excellent breakfast. Very friendly staff. '

'Clean comfortable room. Good TV. Modern bathroom but need to replace the black mouldy silicone in shower and sink!'

'Nice place..a little tricky to find. Service first night good great breakfast...2nd night and breakfast not as professional. Disappointing provision of toiletries....only enough for 1 first night and NONE 2nd night.....just the hand wash!!! Comfortable bed and spacious room with good thoughtful provision of everything else.'

'Perfect'

On both occasions complained afterwards to the pub manager and received no apology as he stated breakfast was at...

We were hardly in the room anyway, so it did what was needed. The fire alarm went off on the first night, which wasn't a nice wake up call. Luckily it was just someone vaping in their room. The staff were friendly though . I'm was about a 25 minute walk from the station there's a bus also. No 3 heworth cafe was...

'Prima hotel zeker de prijs kwaliteit, centrum mooi aan te wandelen en je kan er prima ontbijten en ‘s avonds een barmeal nuttigen'

'Lovely home-y hotel in York. Staff are very welcoming and helpful. Room is clean, only deducted a star because there is some up- keeping that can be done (a bit of peeling wallpaper, etc). Very well located, about a 6 minute walk from the train station and right in the centre of the old town. Breakfast included in the room rate was great.'
