'Apparently there was a power outage prior to me checking in. The elevator was not working and the room key system was not back up yet. The manager on duty and staff handled it beautifully. She and a member of the staff helped take my bags up to my room. We had to take the steps. I was in the lobby for a bit and she helped each person checking in do the same thing. This is the type of customer service that I admire. I will be staying there again on my next trip to the area.'

'Met and exceeding my expectations for the weekend! Enjoyed the space the suite provided and the kitchen was perfect size for our stay. Would go back and book this same place again.'

'Set in a very walkable location with restaurants etc . But is also set on the expressway so some decent road noise. Didnt feel the rooms were super clean lots of dust one person in our group had rotting food from another guest in their fridge. AC was weak for a warm climate not crisp. People said the food on site was frozen and mediocre and often served still frozen . Staff was very nice and small bottles of water are free at desk. Would not stay again due to noise cleanliness price .'

'The place is doable for a QUICK stay as far as like maybe a night or so I don't feel like it was what I expected from the pictures I seen but I also could have further researched as well. The free breakfast is ok but not many options give . The eggs are frozen. Staff that I interacted with was kind and helpful. Overall thanks for the stay uncertain if I would book again.'

'Vriendelijk personeel, zowel bij inchecken als ‘door de dag heen’. Ontbijt is redelijk, opties zijn vrij beperkt maar het volstaat wel. Op handige loopafstand vanaf Carowinds. Ruim voldoende parkeergelegenheid, overzichtelijk en goed verlicht. Manco is wel dat er geen lift is, wij hadden (op verzoek) een kamer op verdieping 2 dus dat is wel even koffers tillen. IJsmachine aanwezig, maar buiten gebruik. De vloerbedekking in de gangen en in de kamer, alsook de trap van 1 naar 2 zag er allesbehalve...

'Staff was the ONLY good think about this place. Room smelled like cigarettes, bathroom didn't look clean. There was no ice machine or coffee machines and the lobby smelled like piss.'

'I was unaware I had to walk up steps to get to my room that was in the 3rd floor. Entering the room, we immediately noticed 2 roaches in the bathroom. (We took pictures) The room had a funny smell. We went back to the lobby to ask for our money back to check into another hotel. We were told that we had to contact the 3rd party who we booked the hotel through for them to contact the manager at super 8 on Monday. We then asked to be transferred to another room on the first floor. We were told...

'You would be better off sleeping in your car in a public park than visiting this facility between the giant potholes in the parking lot, lack of air conditioning in the lobby, the roaches, the unwashed sheets, the kicked in doors. The stained carpets in the hallways. The holes that are poorly patched on the walls, the chirping smoke detectors.\n The sketchy environment.'

'The room smelled of smoke and cleanliness was an issue. The worst is a large bug crawled out from under the bed. I left at 3 in the morning because I was so uncomfortable in the room. You have a lot of work to do to clean up this facility. '
