Het was weldegelijk zo goed als door de andere reviews beschreven! Heel erg vriendelijke en behulpzame Nederlandse eigenaar en zijn vrouw. De staff was ook enorm vriendelijk. 'I was met at the property by Rob, one of the two owners, who showed me to my room. The room was well-appointed and the bathroom was exquisitely decorated in tile and tasteful additions. Rob handed me soap wrapped in leaves from the land. He left as I settled in, but returned later to see if I would like an individual pizza as he and Monica were going out. He returned later with not only the hot and tasty pizza, but also bottle of wine to go with it.

'El Tigre is a beautiful place to stay. The service from Andrea, Randy and team was amazing…even though the location is remote, we had everything we needed thanks to their exemplary customer service. The hike to the waterfalls was incredible and we loved the villa. Great blend of activity and relaxation. Just a perfect long weekend in the Bamboo House with our daughter!'

Receptie vriendelijk maar maakte veel fout informeerde ons niet tav covid wijzigingen tav spa ook bleek onze tour niet goed te zijn doorgeven waardoor deze te laat starte.
Kamer was eenvoudig toe aan onderhoud veel lawaai en geen blinderende gordijnen waardoor een goede nachtrust niet lukte uiteindelijke een dag eerder uitgecheckt vanwege dit alles. Niet het geldwaard!'

'Very nice family owned property with cabins in good condition and breakfast included. They don’t push for tours and you are free to choose your own tour company. There were bugs in the bedrooms and on the bed which we had to clear but that is expected in a eco resort in the mountains surrounded by woods.
The bathroom was very spacious and nice. Only issue was the hot and cold water was not mixing well and only producing luke warm water '

'This little bit of heaven just outside the touristy chaos of La Fortuna was much more than we hoped for. The owners have provided everything you might need in a very stylish cottage, and the view of the volcano is unsurpassed. In fact, we cancelled our dinner reservations and had wine and cheese and just enjoyed the late afternoon watching the weather change the look of the volcano. The outdoor spa tub and the extras, like drinks and a delicious rum cake in the fridge, were much appreciated....
