'Loved the stay at Atalaia Sol. The appartments are a short drive away from the center of Lagos, great when you have a rental car at your disposal. The rooms itself we're clean, some parts better than the other. Some parts could use a refreshment, but overall it was quite nice. All appartements offer a nice pool view, also the pool was still heated during our stay. Made for a pleasant time to take a dive. The space is clean and you could see personell actively cleaning and maintaining stuff....

'Fantastic place to stay, with lovely hosts in Carla and Paulo. It is ideally located, so close to a stunning beach and a pool with a beautiful view, as well as other beaches, restaurants and 10 minutes walk into town. We went as a family with two older teenagers and we all loved it. It had something for everyone. We used Julius for taxis, as recommended by Carla and Paulo, from and to the airport and Slide and Splash. Otherwise we walked everywhere. We would highly recommend it!'

'The apartment is nice and well appointed. The balcony is very large and nice. The only confusion was with the Google coordinates, don’t use them. Instead type the name of the apartment complex. Also, it is considered floor 2, but is actually the top floor or level 3, but the elevator says 2… I don’t know. Maybe the 1st floor is 0 floor. The parking spot was the most challenging aspect. It was definitely the most difficult parking spot I have EVER navigated in 40 years of driving. So much so, I...

'It was tidy place, but cockroaches. I guess theres not much you can do considering the country we were in. When we walked in to the unit, the entire unit smelt like cleaning product which lasted over a day and it bothered me a bit. Having working stove, microwave and sink was handy! Power goes out if you use stove and microwave at the same time though. It was hard rocommunicate with the host unless you walk in to the check in office. I tried to reply their email, it bounced back as it is...

'A nice place. Relatively close to the Lagos centre, maybe a 15 minute walk. There is parking, but it's a bit of a tight squeeze. We ended up parking elsewhere in the area because getting the car in and out was a hassle with a rental. Big balcony area. Updated kitchen. Access to the pool, but we did not end up using it. The company provided a lot of helpful information during check-in, with lots of videos. This was helpful in actually getting into the building.'

"Alles was top! Erg knus authentiek hotelletje met zeer vriendelijk personeel. Wij verbleven in het 'guesthouse' , ook zeer goed. Fijne bedden (met kussen) aan t zwembad en zelfs voor een badlaken was gezorgd. Ontbijt was erg uitgebreid en lekker.. Ligt ong 10/15min lopen van het oude centrum"

"Het hotel is zeer netjes, heel mooi ingericht en trendy! De kamer is mooi, trendy en zeer proper! Het personeel is behulpzaam en zeer vriendelijk Het ontbijt heeft alles wat het moet hebben, zeer lekker en voldoende keuze. Het buitenzwembad is aangenaam, wel frisjes door de wind. De buitenbar is verzorgd en het personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Zeer tevreden over dit hotel en zeker een aanrader!"

"We had a very enjoyable stay at NH Hotel in Lagos. The hotel is beautifully located in a central area, with both the marina and the town centre within easy walking distance. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Even with a late arrival and an early departure in the middle of the night, they were very accommodating and made everything smooth for us. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with a wide variety of fresh options. The hotel also offers several restaurants and a cosy bar, which adds to the overall convenience and atmosphere. The indoor and outdoor swimming pools are a great bonus, especially the outdoor terrace with its bar. Another great advantage is the free-of-charge parking lot exclusively for hotel guests, which makes staying there very convenient if you are travelling by car. One downside is that the hotel has quite a lot of stairs, especially if you are assigned a room towards the back of the property. We experienced this and, with a knee injury, it became quite difficult after a few days. We later requested a different room and were kindly given an upgrade for a small additional fee. If you have mobility issues, it is worth mentioning this in advance. The hotel also offers a free shuttle bus to a beach club, where you can rent sunbeds at a reduced rate and enjoy a relaxing day at the beach, which is a great extra service. Overall, a very pleasant stay and definitely a place we would recommend. We will be back here!"
