Fantastische lokatie op een plek boven de oceaan. Ladder was helaas nog niet gerepareerd, zodat zwemmen in zee onderaan het appartement niet mogelijk was.

I stayed at My Dream Apartments for 12 days and had an amazing experience. I would absolutely return to the same location on my next visit. The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is well equipped with convenient appliances such as a blender, toaster oven, panini press, and hand juicer, along with cutlery and dishes for four people. The property manager is exceptional and goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. He is very friendly, quick to respond, and always happy to help. The area itself is fantastic. The ocean views and soothing sounds of the waves are unbeatable. Because it’s located in a quieter part of the island, it truly feels peaceful and relaxing. The location is ideal—about 800 meters from two different beaches and restaurants, with several other stunning beaches just a short drive away. The roads on this side of the island are much quieter, making it easy to get around to beaches, restaurants, and grocery stores. Overall, we couldn’t be happier with our stay and highly recommend My Dream Apartments to anyone visiting the island.

Ours was a 2nd floor unit -- felt like we were in a boat looking straight down on the beautiful water. Everything we needed was there: the bedroom had an AC unit, and the kitchen had the necessary utensils and pans. The unit was clean and comfortable. Shadforth was an outstanding host. He communicated very well before and during our stay. Highly recommended, and we would happily return. and d and. an AC unit in the bedroom.

Excelente custo benefício

Ficamos em 2 casais durante 10 dias. Excelente custo benefício. Propriedade de frente para o mar, nadando a partir dela par esquerda terá a Playa Lagun e para direita Playa Jeremi, as duas a mais ou menos 1 km de distância, mas com pé de pato é bem tranquilo, da pra apreciar bem a beleza marinha. Apartamento muito bem equipado, com tudo, cooler, churrasqueira e tudo mais que vc precisar e até várias coisas extras. O atendimento do proprietário foi outro ponto a se elogiar, sempre respondia rápido e com várias dicas para aproveitarmos mais a Iha. Pra quem gosta de comida Chinesa e Tailandesa tem uma lugar chamado Tur Tur Snack, que fica a umas 3 quadras de distância, em direção a Playa Lagun, não é restaurante e sim um lugar para pedir e comer em casa. Uma dica é comprar bebias no Mangusa Hypermarket antes de ir, pq os vários mercadinhos que existem para aqueles lados da ilha cobram bem mais caro pela cerveja, por exemplo. Pra quem não gosta de comida Oriental uma boa é ir ao Restaurant Playa Forti ou ao Bahia Restaurant (Playa Lagun), o primeiro nos agradou mais. Enfim, não tem erro, mar lindo, quartos muito bem equipados, limpos e com boa assitência do proprietário.

Well located for the great beaches in the west

This apartment is perfect for exploring the many beaches in west Curacao. One could just snorkel off the back of the property; the water was clear and there was plenty of fish. However, we rented a car and also went to other great beaches nearby for snorkelling: Kalki, Grote Knip, Kleine Knip, Forti, Grandi a.k.a. Piskado, Jeremi and Lagun. It is a 25 minute drive to see the flamingos at Jan Kok. There are other highly rated beaches nearby that we did not get to on this trip. The apartment itself was comfortable and the air conditioning was very effective. While there were facilities for basic cooking, we found it easier to take out food from the very reasonably priced Tur Tur Snacks down the road. Our apartment did not have a sea view but there was a terrace we could use. We did, however, sample the luxury of having a sea view balcony when one of those apartments became vacant during our stay. We would highly recommend getting a sea view apartment if it is available. As for the host, I concur with the superlatives that have been used to describe him.

This place is truly unforgettable! One of the best vacations I've ever had! The property is stunning—it lives up to its name: a dream! You literally have one foot in the ocean, and with just a small ladder, you can dive straight into a breathtaking coral reef. The apartment is fully equipped and comfortable. The property is perfectly located within walking distance of amazing beaches: Playa Lagun, Playa Jeremi, Kleine Knip, Grote Knip... And the sunsets? Simply mesmerizing! Amazing week in Curacao

We stayed at My Dream Apartments for a full week on a family trip that included my wife and I along with our two boys (15 and 12). The apartment had everything we needed, and was a great base for all of our activities. We had an upstairs apartment facing the ocean - the balconies are very large, with a covered part and an open part. The AC in the bedroom made it cool and comfortable at night, there's a fan for the living area, and the wifi worked great when we needed it. The location was great, with a 10-15 minute walk to the Playa Lagun area with the public beach and two restaurants (we loved Discover Lagun and went there almost every day) and also a 15 minute walk the other way to Playa Jeremi (one of our favorites). We had a car and explored more of the island, but even if you didn't you could still spend your time between these two great beaches. Lagun and the Westpunt area were laid back and beautiful, and much more our style than the more resorty areas on the other side of Willemstad. The airport and the city are only a 30-minute drive, and all our outings were within a 20-30 minute drive. Shadforth was a great host, very welcoming, communicative, and helpful - he even invited our family and the other guests to their family New Year's Day celebration with firecrackers, snacks, and drinks. We loved our time here, and if we're able to return to Curacao we will definitely stay again.

Amazing apartment for snorkling

Amazing Caribbean stay and a joy to be self catering after a long trip of hotel stays. Our apartment had the Mountain View from our living room but we had drinks in the shade facing the sea each day. A short walk to playa Lagun where we snorkelled each day and beered each evening. The food at the beach bar looked amazing but you need to reserve a table or take it away. Our lovely host did everything to make our stay enjoyable down to supermarket shop for fruit, veggies and soya milk as we didn’t have a car. I hadn’t realised before booking but the west coast has the best snorkelling. Take de-fogger. We also caught sight of a pod of dolphins from the apartment on our last day.

Pôr do sol e mar incríveis

O pôr do sol é maravilhoso em qualquer um dos quatro apartamentos que são de frente para o mar. O apartamento é bem amplo, com sala, cozinha equipada, banheiro e quarto, além da varanda (Ocean View). Faça uma boa compra de itens de supermercado e utilize a cozinha para preparar refeições. Tomar café, almoçar ou jantar na varanda é um espetáculo. A cor do mar é impressionante. Tem uma escada que dá acesso ao mar para fazer snorkeling. É muito bem localizado para visitar as praias Piskadó, Kalki, Kenepa Grandi, Kenepa Chiki, Jeremi, Lagun, Cas Abao, Porto Marie. A região de Lagun fica distante 50 min do centro de Willemstad, e quase não tem comércio por perto, então leve tudo que puder, e deixe para comprar itens que acabarem nos mercadinhos dos chineses. Avalie a locação de um carro com o Marcos Roberto da BRIO Car Rental, pois facilita demais o deslocamento pela ilha, além dele dar várias dicas do trânsito local. O proprietário do My Dreams Apartments é o Shadforth. Uma ótima pessoa e que está sempre disposto a ajudar com orientações ou dando algum suporte.

Inmejorable relación precio-calidad. Los apartamentos tienen una ubicación estratégica por la cercanía a las mejores playas de Curazao. Son cómodos, espaciosos, limpios y muy bien provistos para una cómoda estadía. Estuvimos allí hace un año y medio y regresamos al mismo lugar porque es el mejor en la zona de Lagun. Por la poca diferencia de tarifa, son muy convenientes los apartamentos que tienen vista al mar. Shadfort es un excelente anfitrión, muy atento a cualquier necesidad que pueda surgir y siempre atento para hacer más agradable la estadía. Muy agradecido por todo!

My Dream Apartments es un alojamiento excelente: cómodo, espacioso, con todo lo necesario para una agradable estadía en Curazao. La cama es grande, confortable y las sabanas limpias. La cocina está equipada con todo lo necesario: hornallas, microondas, cafetera, jarra de agua caliente, una heladera grande y variados enseres de cocina. El balcón con vista al mar justifica pagar la diferencia de precio respecto de los apartamentos que tienen vista a la montaña. La casa dispone de sillones, ventilador, barbacoa, mesa y sillas para cuatro personas. El aire acondicionado, wifi, tv y ducha de agua caliente funcionaron a la perfección. Está ubicado muy cerca de las mejores playas de Curazao, con fantásticos arrecifes para practicar snorquel o buceo. Es una zona muy segura y tranquila que queda a unos 30 km del aeropuerto. Imprescindible contar con movilidad propia ya que hay escasos medios de transporte hasta el lugar. Hay buen espacio de estacionamiento en el complejo y mucha privacidad en cada casa (Sólo 8 apartamentos). Shadford es un super anfitrión, una persona amable, práctica y resolutiva que nos brindó excelentes consejos y nos facilitó el contacto para alquilar un auto a un precio muy conveniente (También recomiendo los servicios de Lindomar, a cargo de este servicio). No tuvimos ningún inconveniente durante toda la estadía. El proceso de comunicación fue excelente. Muchas gracias Shadford por la calidad de sus atenciones, Ojalá podamos volver pronto a tu paraíso tropical.

The personal, friendly service from Shadforth and Miss Sonia made our stay special. The location worked for us even without a car as My Dream is situated 8 minutes walk from two nice beaches, one with freshly caught fish available to buy around mid-day, a dive shop and two bars/restaurants. There is also Bon Bimi Chinese takeout and a little drinks shop in the village a few minutes walk away. There are lost of bus stops and buses running to Willemstad and places along the route perhaps every hour, the 3A up to Knip and 7A to West Punt but we didn't actually master the timetable. The Plantation museum is a 1 k walk. You do need to do a big supermarket shop in town before you arrive as local supermarkets are a drive away and very low on fresh fruit and veg. We took a taxi from the cruise ship terminal having arrived by ship and were severely overcharged for a quick supermarket trip and the ride to Lagun, $130 US when it should have been about 8o; the airport is around 60 so be careful. Our host might be able to help. The kitchen worked well for us self-catering with a big fridge freezer. The local restaurants are nothing special so you may as well eat at My Dream and enjoy the sunsets. Local roads are very quiet and well lit if you want to take a stroll and have a drink out. Our apartment had a big bedroom with two doubles (and a single, good for people with kids?) A totally relaxing place. Enjoy the light on the sea, glimpses of jumping tuna and fishing pelicans, the iguanas.

We loved everything about My Dream Apts. Chadwick was very friendly and available should we have any questions or need anything. The location is perfect for a quieter time on the island. It was not possible to watch TV, as it seens reception on almost every channel was not clear or available. But wifi seemed to work great. We will definitely be back!!
