'Charmant hotel. Heel gezellige ontbijtruimte en voldoende eten. Vriendelijke gastheer. Op wandelafstand van het centrum en gezellige eetgelegenheden. Wij zijn naar Brown sugar gaan eten. Super restaurant. Charmant hotel. Zeker een aanrader. De kamer was heel ruim voor ons 4 en heel gezellig ingericht. Top! '

'Beautiful hotel in a peaceful location. All the staff are friendly and welcoming. We had a spacious room with a large window seat. Loved the bathroom towels which were big and very thick. The bar and dining areas are very inviting. Great breakfast, cooked to order. Wish we were staying longer! '

'The inn is ideally positioned between Ambleside and Windermere with views of the lake from the restaurant. We had a room without a view but it was quiet and very clean. The room had tea and coffee facilities as well as heating you could adjust yourself if needed. The beds were very comfortable and bathroom spotless. My only issue was the smoke alarm on the ceiling flashed throughout the night meaning the room lit up blue which was very annoying but I’m unsure how you could stop this. The...

'Nice people on the reception offering walking guides just to use as soon as we told we were planning to do some walking in the Lake District. The rooms were spaceous and very clean. In the morning on request freshly baken croissants or oatmeal During the evenings we used the DVD service for free. You can pick one and play a movie in the room.'
