'Best spa i have ever been to. Been to alot of spa's up the north of england but this one blows them all away, low wood offers a budget and more exclusive packages that suit your needs. All areas were clean to a high standard and the on site resturant and bar are a bonus. Breakfast was more than what most places offer. '

'The hotel was very close to Windermere lake and very central to see the whole of the Lake District, which was my plan. The staff, especially the breakfast staff, were so friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel doesnt have a lift which was a shame and my room was up 2 flights of stairs which was difficult for me as i have bad knees. Parking was good though the spaces in additional parking are a bit tricky to manoeuvre, but possible. The breakfast was superb, i liked that...
