'We stayed at Armathwaite Hall for one night and it was superb. The staff were all so friendly and helpful and little touches made our stay very memorable such as a glass of prosecco on arrival and a card and some chocolates in my room for my birthday. 'We had a deluxe room with a patio. The room was large, but very dated and with stains and scuffs throughout. The patio was private (we weren't aware of that) so our bedroom opens up directly onto a shared patio which meant we couldnt have our curtains open to admire the view. The coffee machine was missing from our room as well. The spa was nice, but very small.
