'Pool was closed (not an issue for my wife or me), but I did hear some families with children which were concerned about that. We stay here a few times each year. Convenient to the beach, amphitheater, clubs, pubs. and restaurants. '

The Bayfront hotels can be outrageously expensive, but Hampton Inn is a reasonable price for being right on the water w/ Erie’s fanciest restaurant on the top floor (Oliver’s). Our 2 Queen room was huge! It had a charming personalized tv greeting and included access to Netflix & Disney+ if you have those subscriptions. Even on the 2nd floor facing inland, we had a beautiful view of the docks. Room was very clean and cozy. Amenities...

'Property was hidden a bit which was nice, free breakfast was great lots of options and was actually hot. Room had a full size fridge, dishwasher, two burners on the counter top and nice microwave. Very clean all around, definitely will stay again when in the area. '

'What a lovely place to spend the night! Quiet little cottage with a comfortable bed and good reading light. Really enjoyed watching the sunset and walking the steep stairs down to and up from the lake. The town of North East is nearby, although I stayed on my cabin porch and adjacent picnic table for dinner. I would definitely return.'
