'Nothing fancy. Old motel built in the '50's and added on and renovated. Rooms are clean and the staff is very nice. They say breakfast is included, but it is only coffee and some packaged pastries. No big deal because all I wanted was coffee. It backs right up to the river where boats dock and the Bait House Bar, which has a big outdoor patio and sometimes live music. Nice stay for a reasonable price. Walking distance to anything downtown.'

'For the price, definitely not worth it. Bathroom would be too small for any larger person or anyone with mobility issues, smaller than a camper bathroom. Hairs through out the bathroom, pillows stained and 50% of the pillow cases stained. Walls dirty, small bugs flying around. Check in room was very smelly with no hair flow, as an asthmatic, I couldn’t catch my breath. Owners need to spend some money on upkeep and at least have clean pillows (lucky I had my own). Would not stay again.'

'The only real positive about this motel was its location. It was very close to Cedar Point, which made getting to and from the park convenient. Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing. The first room smelled horrible, the air conditioner had a broken control knob, the vents were broken, and the room was dirty and full of ants. We reported the issues and were moved to another room. The second room was better, but it still had a musty smell and didn’t feel very clean. While I appreciate that...

'Arrived at check in time and was given a room that wasn't even finished being cleaned. Asked the very helpful housekeeper if they were almost finished or if I had to get another room. She took me to a new room and it was great and all but had a lot of issues trying to keep my door locked, like the key card was failing to lock the door and there was a lot of jiggling the door handle.
