'The Abbey Hotel & Spa was a beautiful hotel in the mountains. It was quiet, clean & comfortable. The entire hotel staff was very friendly & accommodating. The Appropos restaurant was top notch.

The location is actually on a long hiking trail with beautiful views. The room wasn't huge but very clean and beautiful floor to ceiling windows. Staff was very helpful. It's a great alternative to the chain hotels in Elmsford - a whole different vibe. Has the Hudson Valley character. '

"Zeer vriendelijk personeel en een mooi schoon hotel. Ontbijt tegen een kleine meerprijs ook prima!
Wij hadden een kamer met 2 queensize bedden en een slaapbank. Helaas bleek de slaapbank nog gedekt te zijn met lakens van de vorige gasten, maar dat werd heel snel opgelost met een telefoontje naar de receptie.
Openbaar vervoer naar NY is wat lastig maar verder een perfect en betaalbaar hotel met zeer vriendelijke mensen."

De ontvangst was buitengewoon slecht. We waren met een groep. Aanvankelijk werd er doodleuk gezegd dat we niet gereserveerd hadden. Toen werd deze wel gevonden, eerst maar voor een beperkt aantal gasten maar na ruim 1,5 uur (!!!) had iedereen eindelijk z’n kamer."
