'Very pleasant small property. 5 mins walk from central Ambleside. Well equipped and warm. Perhaps a bit small for a family of 4 but great for two people. Nicely decorated with thoughtful touches. Only one parking space but a car park 4 mins walk down the hill. Would recommend.'

'We spent four nights recently in Serendipity in the Lakelands complex in Ambleside. We were delighted to find it clean, comfortable and well located with just steps to the local Tesco, shops and restaurants. The king-sized bed was very comfortable. The sheets and towels were luxurious. The kitchen is well equipped, so was the bathroom, and there was good storage. 'Grasmere is great place to book stay. Oakbank property was great and we had everything we needed to stay with comfort. The parking space is tight if you have bigger vehicle pr sedan car.'
