'Ideal holiday house, location close to shops, eateries, swimming pool whilst still having easy access to the fells. The drive is extremely steep and although it advertises garage for two cars, it wouldn’t fit two large cars. Nice having the extra space up on the road. For a family of 6 we did rearrange the table in front of the window and push the settees to the walls. We preferred to play games at the table rather than watch tv on holiday but at least guests have the choice. The kitchen was...

'Very pleasant small property. 5 mins walk from central Ambleside. Well equipped and warm. Perhaps a bit small for a family of 4 but great for two people. Nicely decorated with thoughtful touches. Only one parking space but a car park 4 mins walk down the hill. Would recommend.'

'The property was immaculate. Every room was very clean and tidy. Very comfortable for 2 adults, not sure how 4 adults would feel as it might be a bit on the small side, especially if you are tall people as the ceilings are low. Parking might be a bit tricky. There is space outside for one car, although the road is narrow at that point. There seems to be space on the next road along though, or as the owner suggests in the nearby pay carpark.
