'Quaysiders resort is an apartment/hotel right by the upper side of Lake Windermere in Ambleside. It is in an absolutely perfect location close to the lake, shops, restaurants. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment with a kitchen that had all kitchen amenities. Our Apartment was very clean and spacious . There is an indoor pool that was warm and it can also be like a Jacuzzi. There is also a Sauna. The resort also has a laundry room and dryer so I was able to do my laundry while on our stay. The...

'Grasmere is great place to book stay. Oakbank property was great and we had everything we needed to stay with comfort. The parking space is tight if you have bigger vehicle pr sedan car.'

'We spent four nights recently in Serendipity in the Lakelands complex in Ambleside. We were delighted to find it clean, comfortable and well located with just steps to the local Tesco, shops and restaurants. The king-sized bed was very comfortable. The sheets and towels were luxurious. The kitchen is well equipped, so was the bathroom, and there was good storage. 'Yes luvly flat. All great furnishings. Very clean. Entrance up round back needs to be kept tidier, swept up etc. Very handy for everything.'

'It was a great location. We did find the car park a little bit tight and tricky to get into (as the road was fairly busy when we arrived). The cottage was great and had all we were after and the downstairs bathroom was great for my elderly Mum. The two single beds mattresses were a bit past their best so the only thing I’d suggest to improve the property would be an update of those. Otherwise it was a great place to stay right on the river.'

'Huisje ligt op een mooie plek op een vakantiepark met verder voornamelijk stacaravans. Er zijn voorzieningen op het park (zwembad bijv tegen betaling). Vanaf het park is er ook een directe toegang tot het meer (Windermere). Het huisje is voor een gezin met 3 kinderen (1, 5, 7 jr) of meer dan 2 volwassenen echter wel vrij krap. Wij vonden het huisje niet zo schoon: het keukengerei was soms nog vies/vet, we vonden onder tafel vies ondergoed en sokken (?!). Ook waren er te weinig schone handdoeken....
