'The unit was very spacious. But, we couldn’t get the air conditioning to work properly in the living room and the windows wouldn’t open anywhere in the unit. So we couldn’t get any fresh air. Also the doors in the unit wouldn’t stay open (nothing to prop them open), so that was a pain.'

From the outside it looked fairly ordinary, but stepping inside was a completely different story. The apartment was modern, spacious, and exceptionally well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. One feature that made my day was the washer-dryer combo, iron and ironing board which is always a welcome luxury when you're several weeks...

'Prima appartement, dicht bij restaurants en supermarkt. Edinburgh castle en Royal mile op loopafstand. Wij zaten in de appartementen over de brug iets verderop. Je kunt daar wel je auto even neer zetten om uit te pakken, maar daarna moet deze achter de appartementen voor de brug bij de receptie geparkeerd worden. Dit was verder geen probleem. Enige nadeel is de drukke weg die onder de brug doorloopt en die direct achter het appartement is grenzend aan het slaapkamerraam. Verder is het...

Enkelt att ta sig med buss in till stan från lägenheten.'
