vakantie Lanzarote, hotel Rubimar.
We hebben het uitstekend naar onze zin gehad. Vriendelijk personeel die ons goed de weg kon wijzen van wat er in Playa Blanca en op Lanzarote te doen was. Nette kamer, goede kamerservice. Goed eten en we hebben 3 dagen all inn gedaan en dat was perfect! Al met al: wij hebben een prima vakantie gehad!!!

Staff are very friendly and the hotel is very clean, but can be very noisy if you are a light sleeper, ask for a top floor room so not to have people walking around above

Hotel confortevole ma che ha margini di miglioramento attraverso alcuni lavori di manutenzione. Buono per le famiglie con figli piccoli. WiFi solo alla reception è un limite; consigliabile anche negli appartamenti e gratis (non a pagamento) Distante un Km abbondante sia dalla spiaggia più vicina che dalle attrazioni/movida. La località di Costa Blanca è bella e funzionale per muoversi verso altri siti: ad esempio la bellissima Play del Papagayo raggiungibile con auto (attraverso strada bianca).

Brilliant stay
Had a fantastic time. The room was fairly basic but regularly cleaned and we had a great view of the pool. Did not try the food, but with so many great restaurants nearby we were glad we did not go all inclusive. For the price the hotel was amazing. Easily as good as ones twice the price. I also recommend walking along the front to the restaurants. In particular the Camel restaurant deserves a mention. The food is is well priced and the fillet steak was one of the best I have had anywhere in the world.

El apartamento bien, amplio. Aunque la mesa para comer de madera y ya bastante deteriorada. Nada de productos de limpieza, ni una triste esponja. Llegamos a las 3 de la madrugada, habiendo avisado, no tuvieron ni un triste detalle por ello, pagamos como si hubiéramos entrado a la de 15h... Encima en recepción tienen a una chica externa al hotel por la noche, majisima, pero que no podía explicarnos nada. Al día siguiente me acerco en recepción para terminar el check in y decir q no tenemos información de nada y no explicaron nada de nada. Cuando nos íbamos encima les escucho q explican a otra familia donde están las diferentes instalaciones, los servicios que tienen etc...feísimo el detalle con nosotros. No sé si volvería la verdad

It was ok for a short break
We had a nice short break and think the hotel was worth what we paid. This was probably down to us getting a pool view balcony room, of which here are only 26 in the whole hotel. This is definitely not a 4 star hotel as per he “official” rating and not convinced it’s a 3 star either. The fixtures and fittings are very tired, crockery chipped, bed covers stained, number rubbed off induction hob so you’ve no idea if it’s on high/low/not on at all etc, and facilities limited ie no oven in the room, only tiny tea cups no coffee mugs, only 2 glasses but 4 of everything else, no plugs for the kitchen or bathroom sinks. The rooms were only cleaned every other day which wasn’t a problem cleaning wise, but would have liked fresh towels daily. Some staff were friendly, some weren’t, but no one was rude which is good. The pool was big and there were more than enough sun beds but we did travel in May and not in school holidays.

Great location
A lovely clean and friendly hotel right at the marine. In close proximity to supermarket and shopping centre. ( less than 5 mins walking). Had a gym and tennis courts, great staff who are polite and helpful. The marina rubicon is a 5 min walk and has some great boutique shops and great places to eat looking out over the marina. The whole place has a really relaxed atmosphere. Can’t wait to return

Self catering, so didn`t use bar/ restaurant. Best facility for us was indoor heated pool. Outdoor pool cold but pool area great. Plenty sun beds,lifeguard on duty. Location right on marina. Pleasant half hour walk into Playa Blanca.Very good Supermarket and coffee shop 100 metres away. Not handy for either resort bus or,other destinations on island. Would recommend Rubimar for a relaxing winter week.

Great location right by the marina
Most of the balconies are designed for the maximum amount of sun for most if not all of the daytime hours. The nearest hyperdino supermarket was within 50 metres. The nearest beach was about a 15 minute walk but the walk being via the promenade on the seafront. Great friendly staff, big 1 bed apartment with 2 TVs if wanted. The marina with numerous shops and small local bars was straight in front of the apartments and less than a minute to walk to. Would go again!

Instalaciones deficientes a precios exagerados.
El hotel, aunque está bastante bien ubicado y el personal es muy amable, presenta un estado de conservación deficiente (la mayoría de las paredes de las zonas comunes necesitan pintura o encalado, la encimera del comedor tenía desconchados, el grifo de la bañera estaba descascarillado, la bañera tenía manchas de oxidación...). La limpieza era bastante mejorable, y el aspecto general del hotel era de descuido. El precio por noche de un hotel con este aspecto y estas condiciones es complementamente desproporcionado. Son precios de un resort moderno de 4 estellas por unos apartamentos modestos típicos de zona turísticas masificadas.

Last minute booking!
We booked this hotel whilst in playa blanca, on the whole very pleased with the hotel. Good location, right by the marine. Friendly staff, very family friendly. Clean pool. Rooms were clean, but need some updating. An issue with the freezer but was fixed. The restaurant was a bit bland, had room for improvements. Had such a lovely stay and with a few updates and refreshing to the hotel we would definitely return.

Excellent well situated hotel
Very impressed with this well situated hotel. Our apartment was enormous, and very clean and comfortable. The pool was a very good size and warm too. Situated directly next to the marina, and only a 5-10 minute walk to the beach, I would highly recommend this hotel. We stayed fully inclusive and the food was excellent, plenty of choice at all meal times. The bar staff were friendly and helpful, making this a great family choice.

Bien placé et bonnes prestations
1 nuit car je changeais d'hotel chaque soir. Hotel situé dans une des 3 stations balnéaires de l'ile, avec de bons restaurants en front de mer et une petite plage pas très loin parfaite pour se baigner. Bien placé pour rayonner en voiture dans la partie sud de l'ile (découvrir le parc des volcans, la route des vins, la dégustation dans les bodégas). La plage de sable noir et très sauvage pas urbanisée (par chance) de Quemanda n'est qu'à quelques kms ainsi que le point de vue sur la lagune verte à El Golfo. Piscine chauffée bien appréciable en cas de vue + très jolie et grande piscine extérieure.

Near the Marina
Staff very friendly, pool very large. The apartment was a very good size. Local are was near to the marina. It was about 20 - 25 pleasant walk into the main town, but marina area was about 5 minutes walk, it had about 10 - 12 restaurants/bars, supermarkets also in this area.

Gute Lage (Nähe Marina), Anlage OK, Apartments auch (schon etwas abgewohnt), einfache Ausstattung, schlechtes Licht (Buch lesen fast nicht möglich), teures W-Lan, was nich oder schlech funktioniert. Fitness- und Sporberich nicht einladend und ungepflegt. Personal durcgehend freundlich und zuvorkommend. Gastronomie kann ncht beurteilt werden, da nicht n Anspruch genommen. Es gibt sehr viele (gute) Cafes und Restaurants in yplaya Blanca

Nice hotel close to Playa Blanca.
The staff were lovely. One of the cleaners even made a little elephant out of flannels for our little boy which was a lovely touch! the hotel was close to the beach. The food was lovely. The building needs a little work but it was a pleasant stay and we would definitely stay there again.

Pleasant hotel with reasonable access
The hotel catered for our needs we did not make full use of the amenities as we had limited time at the resort. The only thing that was annoying was the fact that even though we had a flyer put through the door access to the sun beds was impossible as towels were placed and left with them left vacant for hours while people left the hotel and did shopping sight seeing etc..We usually managed to get one about 5 o clock in the late afternoon.

Hotel très bien placé tout pret de la marina, jolie piscine mais un peu froide à cette saison, le buffet était très bon et très varié, petit bémol sur les désserts, pas à mon goût, chambre spacieuse mais ne disposant que de deux lits dans la chambre et un petit lit dans le séjour, pas evident avec un enfant quand on veut le coucher plus tôt, mais bonnes prestations Dans L'ensemble, le français est un. .peu oublié dans toute l'île , on se rend compte de ses lacunes en.langue.

Excellent location for Playa Blanca amenities
This hotel is in the up market part of the area by the modern Marina development and just off the coastal path that will take you to the Papagayo beaches or to the centre of Playa Blanca. We did not use the hotel restaurant as it is so close to all the restaurants and bars in the marina and the sea front. The balconies were perfect for chilling at the end of the day watching the sun go down. This is a good choice if you want a reasonable priced hotel in the 'posh' part of Playa Blanca and prime position for beach and the town.

Gutes Hotel in der Nähe des Hafens
Mit meinem Appartement war ich sehr zufrieden. Es war sauber, aber meistens war ich unterwegs. Das Personal war sehr höflich und hilfsbereit. Zweimal hab ich das Abendessen im Restaurant eingenommen. Das Buffet war gut, große Auswahl an Salaten. Leider war das warme Buffet nur lauwarm, aber trotzdem gut. Große Auswahl beim Nachtisch. Es gab zwei Flachbildschirm-Fernseher, einen im Wohn-Esszimmer, einen im Schlafzimmer. Für die Fernbedienung ist eine Kaution zu entrichten, ebenso für die Klimaanlage. W-Lan ist in der Hotelhalle gratis, Im Zimmer ist es kostenpflichtig, aber nicht zu teuer. Meine Ansprüche wurden vollkommen erfüllt, ich war sicher nicht zum letzten Mal da.

hanno confuso le stelle con le stalle ...... ti ingannano con un prezzo basso e poi paghi anche l'aria che respiri.esempio asciugamani per la piscina 10 euro a settimana. ecc ecc .mai piu penso che nella mia vita , ho 56 anni, non ho mai visto un buffet cosi puverile meno male che in 4 settimane di nostra permanenza abbiamo pranzato una volta sola

Aussen nett angelegt, Möblierung antiquiert...
Ich habe dort nur eine Nacht verbracht. (Hatte Bekannte in Playa Blanca besucht) Die Poolanlage macht einen netten Eindruck und das Ambiente scheint OK. Allerdings zeigen sich die Möbel der Appartements noch im allseits bekannten "Kanaren-Barock" Die Einrichtung ist altbacken und bereits ziemlich verwohnt. Auch finden sich die klassischen, gegen ein Wandbrett gestellten Liegen als Betten. Das ganze Thema ist bekanntermassen nicht sonderlich bequem und mir waren die Matratzen zu weich/durchgelegen. Die Sauberkeit ist soweit in Ordnung und das Personal war sehr freundlich. Zur Verpflegung kann ich nichts sagen, da ich mir das Frühstück gespart habe.

In need of serious investment
Very disappointed by this place. NOT 4 star. 2-3 more appropriate. Only plus side is location and nice staff. Rooms looking very dated and sparse equipment for apartment, the plastic mattress coverings on the bedding uncomfortable too. Have to pay a deposit for everything including tv remote control! The indoor pool - a reason why we booked has been broken for weeks, despite the staff saying it will be fixed tomorrow! outdoor pools freezing too. They seem to be cutting costs at the expense of guest enjoyment. other local hotels like the Hesperia and Princess Yazia much better.

chilled week in lanzarote
lanzarote is my favourite canary island it has enough to do but nothing happens too quickly.the roads are a joy to drive on,fuel is cheap[ near 60p l] and the exchange rate at the moment makes everything reasonable.for me playa blanca is the best place to stay with its lovely marina, shops and bars but still very low key ..there are a few interesting places to visit,this time we did the fire mountain and the caves in the north .The volcanic scenery when out on the roads is quite unique and quickly gives you an idea of the force of nature and looking on the expedia website for feb 2016,i can go back for just over £200 in the hotel rubimar inc flights ..it would be rude not to

Var der bare en natt fordi jeg skulle videre med ferge dagen etter. Valgte hotellet fordi det var rimelig, men det viste seg altså at det i tillegg var veldig bra! Dette hotellet kan jeg absolutt anbefale.

Exceeded expectations in every way
Despite having arrived in Reception to find some women complaining loudly about their room, we were delighted with everything about this inexpensive hotel. The staff couldn't be more helpful, and food was tasty and varied. Very close to the well presented Marina and its restaurants, shops and market. Only downside would be lack of coffee facilities before 8am. Also the pool jacuzzi and inside spa could be much warmer!

La situación del hotel es muy buena.
Es el tercer año consecutivo que vamos al mismo hotel. Nos gusta la ubicación, el tipo de hotel y no tenemos nada que decir en contra del personal del hotel. Nuestra experiencia es positiva. Hay cosas que mejorar, pero mas bien por parte de los mismo huéspedes del hotel, y lo digo aquí por si alguno lo lee: algunos usuarios de las instalaciones por el hecho de ir en "todo incluido" yo creo que se sienten con el derecho a dejar los vasos, pajitas.... tiradas por los alrededores de la piscina, o escondidos entre las rocas o jardines, eso no es falta de limpieza por parte del hotel, sino que algunos usuarios no se portan como debieran. Siento si alguien se siente ofendido pero es así.

Constant buzzing noise from a power point when reported, maintenance man not here until tomorrow. No controls to operate TV or A.C. told, well there's no English channels anyway! You would have been told, had to make alternative arrangements all at my cost! arrangements.

Bit bland
Hotel itself was nice - rooms very spacious, indoor pool was a great bonus. Can't imagine how anyone would self cater with the minimal crockery/cutlery but I suppose the main focus was on all inclusive. Food was okay but did become very repetitive over the space of a week. Main beds were comfortable enough in rooms but fold out sofa bed was a disaster with my kids pulling mattress off same and sleeping on the floor. Main gripe with hotel was lack of atmosphere and a very poor entertainment program. The same girl was responsible for entertaining kids by day and everyone by night. The evening entertainment consisted of a kids disco followed by either bingo or a quiz both of which were difficult for the english speaking guests to understand. One night there was a bird of prey show and another a reptile show but these lasted maybe 20 mins and after that it was basically drink up and off to bed!!
