'This is a family oriented property that is well maintained. I visit Decatur often but had never stayed at Homewood Suites. The only small complaint I have is the couch fabric was pretty dirty. Other than that, I highly recommend the property and would stay there again.'

'Our stay at this motel was pretty good. Everything was as expected for a budget motel. Room was very clean and the bed was soft and comfortable. Check in was smooth and staff was very pleasant. 'The young lady could not tell me if I had prepaid for the room or not, she was very nice and everything but she was having a hard time with the PC, also wasn't sure how to set up a wake up call for the morning I don't think its her fault maybe she was not properly trained and she was the ONLY ONE there '

'The hotel is nice enough. The room I had was nice, other than the ant colony by bathtub in the floor, and I did not have house keeping while I was there. Also, even thou I paid for breakfast with my reservation thru Expedia they apparently had no record and charged me anyways, even after I showed them my itinerary and stated they couldn't do anything about it till Monday.'

'In need of repair and remodel'

'Room was fine until it rained and my window started not just leaking but water was pouring into the room. Staff moved me into a different room that had a similar problem as the first. Floor by the AC unit was damp the entire stay. No mention of any accommodation for getting moved into a “downgraded” room. Would only plan on staying here if the weather is going to be clear with no possibility of rain at all. Other than that, staff was nice and breakfast wasn’t bad.'

'I was visiting for a graduation. We booked two rooms two months in advance. We had to wait over an hour for rooms to be ready. This was very inconvenient since we’d been on the road for almost 4 hrs & just wanted to sit down. The lady at front desk was nice & welcoming though.'

'Shower light didn't work, bathroom exhaust makes a lot of noise, one mattress the bed sunk in when sitting or laying on it, tv remote on/off button or volume buttons didn't work. Had to adjust volume or on/off on the tv itself, carpet by the bed was sticky so bare feet not recommended, ice machine on our floor did not work, hot tub was not functioning and was empty. 'The room was what you would expect. Enough room for three adults; the washing machine & dryer were adequate. Parking area was a little small and the breakfast wasn’t worth the walk down to the office. The breakfast items weren’t replenished as they should have been so we ended up going to a restaurant for breakfast. We did get a late check out which was helpful because our flight out of Chicago was late at night.'
