We stayed in the Oakley Room and it was just perfect, a stunning room with gorgeous decor and attention to detail, only made better by the huge bathtub! 'Such a nice and cosy little hotel. It's like an Inn, which is as said the oldest in the UK. You really breathe the middle ages, so awesome. Breakfast and dinner are super. Most friendly staff. The rooms and bathrooms are a bit small, but that's just fine because that fits such an historic place. Together with the beautiful surroundings of the Cotswolds, highly recommended. '

'There is parking behind the waitrose and staff walked us there after their shift had ended to ensure we understood the parking App since tomorrow is the Farmers Market on High Street and we would have to move the vehicle early. Now it’s all sorted and paid in advance. Of course it’s an older hotel and everything is crooked and settled, but you should come here for that eclectic experience, as we did. I just miss the old mural that was painted in the pub before, replaced by a more modern map. '
