The company happily kept our entire payment and showed no concern for the many problems we dealt with during our stay.- We didn't receive our entrance instructions on time for arrival- The property was covered in spiders, their webs and dead bugs, live bugs inside the bedrooms and a kitchen covered in ants-Maintenance showed up twice to perform maintenance...

The location is very convenient—about 10 minutes from the airport and major shopping areas, and roughly 15 minutes from the UAB campus. 'The home itself was well appointed and comfortable. The mattresses could use updating. It was like sleeping in a water bed. The whole place has a hint of the smell of weed. Not surprising considering the neighbors. Not a huge issue especially if you are into that sort of thing. The host was very communicative. There were LOTS of extra things to do like additional contracts and ID verification outside of the VRBO. It was annoying but not surprising or a huge deal. '

'This is a wonderful property. Beds and living room/dining room space was very comfortable. Our favorite place and reason for booking was the outdoor covered sitting area, the table and chairs facing the water and the peaceful nature of the proximity to the river. My sister was having cancer treatments at UAB Kirkland Clinic and this was the perfect place for us to relax and rejuvenate together. We rested and visited and enjoyed our precious time together.
