'The house is really well-stocked and in a good location (easy travel times to Lake Leelanau, Traverse City, Glen Arbor, etc.). The dock for the lake is really nice and the lake itself is lovely to splash around in (not too muddy and the shallow part is extensive). '

'Stayed at Paradesia for three nights on a guys’ getaway (reunion of high school friends). Only three of us, but more would have been easily comfortable. The rental has the feel of a classic National Park lodge — the Old Faithful Inn or Crater Lake Lodge — though completely updated (and much smaller, of course). Call it a mini NP lodge. 'We liked the up north feel of the log cabin experience. A comfortably cooled vaulted ceiling living room. A beautiful view on the back 4 seasons room. Lake leelenau is great for our little hobie. There are not a lot of boats out on that gorgeous lake and plenty of wind and water. It is less than 2 minute drive to bel lago which is one of the best wineries on the peninsula. Cedar is a great resource. the coffee shop and the market in particular. so many goodies. we hope to come back...
