'Room was small but lovely. Very noisy at nights which we didnt mind but bare in mind when booking. Breakfast delicious both mornings. Very cluttered with junk in the corridoors and corners which doesn't look great but also could be a fire hazard? Staff really friendly. Good size car park behind. Lovely pub. Great price.'

'Wonderful room, very spacious and cool. Yes air conditioning goes a long way these days for the beginning of an English summer. Breakfast was also quite nice, it was freshly cooked and generous. If I’m ever headed down this way again, I’ll be sure to stay again. '

'A really great stay, check in was smooth mid afternoon, superior room was fine with a fantastic super king bed and huge bathroom. We had supper in the bar, good food and drinks in a busy pub setting, a nice buzz and big shout out to Lewis and Sam who were so friendly and professional, a great team. Breakfast was really good, again in the bar with plenty of choices cooked to order as well as a small buffet. We will definitely return again!'

'This is a very beautiful little pub. The rooms are all unique and have their own charecters. Staff are really friendly. The continental breakfast is delivered in a picnic basket outside your room or you can have a cooked breakfast in the bar. Parking via car park is right outside and shopping is just a short walk away '

'Je komt binnen in een pub met balkenplafond en plakkerige vloer en tafels. Je gaat een smalle krakende trap op met versleten en vies tapijt naar de kamer. Het lijkt of de kamer een jaar geleden voor het laatst is schoongemaakt. De wastafel is gebarsten, de wc vies, de douchecabine vol met kalkvlekken. Maar bediening is bijzonder vriendelijk en het eten goed. '

'We had an excellent stay. The girls working there when we arrived late were brilliant. They made us some sandwiches even though the restaurant had closed and nothing was too much trouble. Best service we have had in a long time.'

'We received a very warm welcome from the friendly staff. The room was spacious and well-equipped, with a view of the river. We also enjoyed an excellent meal in the restaurant. This was a lovely place to stay, in a picturesque position by the River Severn.'

'Stayed for one night whilst visiting family. friendly check in , easy to find. Accommodation was clean everything was in working order. Only thing that would need improvement was the pillows , as they were very soft but this of course is preference. Bedding very thick and too heavy during a heat wave. Breakfast was lovely and hot, quick and efficient service. Thankyou '

'Friendly service . Very clean and nicely presented place. Lots to do in the area and staff happy to help with ideas. Nice little touch was a research area with comfortable chairs and leaflets , about the local area, to go through. Beer garden is a great place to relax. Would definitely be happy to return'
