'Prima hotel, op doorreis of als uitvalsbasis voor uitstapjes in de omgeving. Kamer, badkamer en bedden waren goed. Het ontbijt was uitgebreid, met vers fruit (aardbeiden, frambozen, blauwe bessen), yoghurt en ruime keuze in Engelse ontbijt-varianten met ei, bacon etc. Ook het avondeten was er prima. Vlak naast het hotel zijn er Tesla oplaadpunten, die ook door niet-Tesla's gebruikt kunnen worden, en die met hoge snelheid kunnen laden. Handig!'

'This was a lovely place to stay which we chose partly because it has some EV charging facilities. The restaurant and bar have a good selection with well kept beer and the staff are helpful and friendly. We especially recommend the panna cotta, however, all the food was good. The bedroom and bathroom were a good size and well appointed with tea, coffee and water. We would visit again '

'This was a lovely place to stay. The staff were very welcoming and always had time for a chat. The room was spotless and newly refurbished. Comfortable bed. Plenty of tea and coffee etc which with toilet rolls was replenished daily, as we're the towels. The bed was made up daily and the room cleaned. Breakfast was freshly cooked and lovely. Plenty of other items too such a yogurt, cereal, toast etc. Great setting and next to local amenities and 25 mins from the coast. '

'Easily the best accommodation of a four-day stay in Northumberland. Everything in the Whittling House makes your trip a little bit better, from lovely staff to beautiful decor, homemade shortbread for the rooms to the comfy armchairs in the bar. Definitely worth the more premium price!'

'This boutique hotel is perfect in every way. A fantastic location close to the beach and other local areas like Seahouses, Bamburgh, Craster, Alnwick and Beadnell village. The staff are so friendly, smiley and helpful and work so hard. The Full Northumbrian breakfast is outstanding . We will be returning. Thank you !'
