The location of the hotel is excellent for sightseeing within a reasonable walking distance of various attractions. The quality of the hotel is reasonable to good. The rooms are somewhat dated. The plumbing in the bathroom and toilet could be modernized with, for example, thermostatic water faucets. The restaurant, on the other hand, is very modern. It is recommended to have breakfast at the hotel. The staff is very customer-friendly and always willing to serve you. A minus point is that during breakfast the used plates, coffee cups, cutlery are taken away too quickly by the waiters. This is very unsettling for the guests and gives the impression that you have to leave the table quickly.

It was clean and the staff was amazing. How well you sleep depends on your personal sensitivities: I could totally bear the loud traffic outside but had more trouble with an old mattress. Still, great value and good location.

Goed hotel, alleen badkamer mag wel ge-update worden. Ouderwetse wasbak en kranen en een douchegordijn wat ik persoonlijk echt verschrikkelijk vind. Het personeel was correct maar niet uitermate vriendelijk, wellicht de Britse manier van doen. Dichtbij Russel Square station, dat is echt heel handig. Op de eerste etage wordt je elke dag in alle vroegte gewekt door het verplaatsen van containers. Dat is echt minder. Na het uitcgecken is er de mogelijkheid om kosteloos je bagage te stallen.

het was enorm goed de meeste gebieden vriendelijkheid en hulpvaardigheid van personeel, gezellige ruimtes, het thuisgevoel dat je er ondervindt, kamers ... bedden waren een beetje klein en hard ( maar daar behielpen ze graag aan door extra dekentje op matras te leggen) ontbijt een beetje weinig keuze

For the price I was able to book it, the hotel was perfectly fine: clean, quite modern, almost a bit spacious for London standards. But: if you have a room in the front, be prepared to stay awake all night, because the windows don't block out the noises of the very busy street. It even came through my ear plugs... It is a reason for me not to rebook again.

OK hotel.
Kamer OK, alleen warm en benauwd. Met open venster slapen was geen optie vanwege drukke straat met veel verkeer, ook ‘s nachts. Dat er oordopjes op het nachtkastje lagen bij aankomst was veelbetekenend. Zelfs met het venster dicht was er veel lawaai van de straat hoorbaar. Kamer achteraan = bijbetalen.

Hotel ligt op een goede plek. Goed bereikbaar met een bushalte voor de deur. De kamer had geen airco en de ramen konden niet fatsoenlijk open. Het was te heet op de kamer. Bij het inchecken kon ik niet betalen met mijn gewone pas van bank, heel onhandig.

Well located, good breakfast with lots of choices in food. The main picture is a bit misleading, because it’s the dining room, not a lounge. The garden is really nice and a great place to sit in.

The restaurant was great, the elevators work only with key cards which was really safe, and the city centre was a walkable distance I was able to see everything in London and it’s steps from the British museum. Would rebook!

A quiet (for London) part of town that’s still walking distance to things like the British Museum or Covent Gardens.its bracketed between two Underground stations and well serviced by busses. There are budget-friendly food options and lots of middle-upscale dining too! The hotel itself can feel small for North American tastes, but like everything in London, you’ll adapt quickly and find it all very charming.

Great location near the British Museum. Breakfast was hearty. There are two subway stops within easy walking distance. Walls of my room were a little thin. The first night I could hear the conversations in the next room. After that, the room was vacant. Besides that issue, I had an excellent stay and would gladly return.

OK hotel beliggende centralt i London, med et meget serviceminded personale, både i reception og ved servering af den inkluderede morgenmad - altid opmærksomme og parate til at besvare spørgsmål. Rengøring var der hver dag, intet at udsætte på det - dog undrer det mig, at der er sat et lille info skilt op på badeværelset om at genbruge sit håndklæde ved at hænge det op igen og alligevel blev det skiftet hver dag. Værelset var et standard værelse med 2 enkeltsenge, toilet for sig og håndvask/bad for sig i 2 separate rum. Ikke fancy, men det fungerede for os. Havde 6 overnatninger og var godt tilfredse med opholdet. Kommer gerne igen.

Bedford Hotel feels like a little oasis of zen in big and wonderfully crazy city. There’s just enough of everything. The area around the hotel feels really safe (and my frame of reference are big boring Canadian cities). I found budget-friendly food-choices all within a block or two’s pleasant walking distance. Note: All of London seems to have a different mindset around accessibility than does North America, but that shouldn’t reflect specifically on any hotel.

It is a beautiful hotel near the British Museum, very close to the Picadilly Underground line and also to Covent garden. The people working there are lovely and the breakfast is delicious. I had a quiet room with windows to the garden with a great view.

It was such a great experience staying at Bedford Hotel, the staff was very friendly, room service impeccable.
