'We’re from Los Angeles and didn’t know much about Placerville before our visit, but we were pleasantly surprised. There were plenty of activities nearby, and we enjoyed every single one. The house was spotless, and the owner was incredibly friendly. It was also conveniently close to downtown and local attractions.The only thing the house needs is a better WiFi. It’s super slow during our stay.'

'Beautiful location, surrounded by trees, and private. Canal was a bonus. Nice rooms with thick carpet. Comfortable beds. Right off the freeway, but good insulation blocks sound when inside. We loved the flickering "fairy" lights on the trees at night!Owners friendly and helpful. Caution for mobility-challenged: ascending slope to house is steep, and stairs on the lower section don't have handrails.Overall, a great option in the area and would rent again!'
