'Aardig personeel. Bar en zitgelegenheid goed. Kamer : dit kan echt niet...veel te klein. Douchecabine klein. '

'The room was large, bright and clean with the added bonus of a fan. Staff were polite and helpful. Evening meal was superb. If we are in Harpenden again we will definitely stay here again.'

'I would advise other travellers to be cautious, especially if arriving late or making a last-minute booking. I should also mention that I was told I would not be offered breakfast because I had booked last minute or arrived late. My experience with the reception staff made me feel very unwelcome and uncomfortable. Regardless of the price paid for a room, every guest should be treated with basic courtesy and respect. 'Heel leuk oud gebouw, prachtige binnenplaats, prima parkeergelegenheid. Douchevloer (kamer 6) zeer glad.'

'Leuk klein gezellig hotel vlak bij het centrum vriendelijk personeel'

'Really convenient for what I needed courtyard style room straight onto the car park. Dog friendly with some great walks around the area. Super easy check-in key was in the door. Appreciated the fruit teas and coffees in the morning. We’ll stay again if I need to be in that area.'

'lovely little find. Room was lovely, beautifully decorated. Fridge and aircon which are invaluable when travelling with work. Room was a little small, the others looked larger so would book one of these next time. Only improvement would be remove the shower curtains and replace with glass, no one likes a shower curtain!!'

'Lovely modern room in restored old building. Staff were helpful, and both dinner and breakfast in the pub were great.'

'It was very good'

'Very convenient located for me'

'Nothing too special, but the rooms are good size and in good condition. Friendly staff. Food was above expectation and better than the usual hotel fare. '

'Great stay !!'
