'We were booked to stay for 3 days the staff were polite and friendly but our experience wasn't great to be honest the place looks tired and rundown they shut the bar early the 1st night we arrived due to lack of customers we were told ....we also had no idea it was being used for accommodating people who looked like asylum seekers ...there were possessions stacked outside the stairs to our accomodation and people loading vans for most of the time we stayed including in the middle of the night...

'I wish I could have stayed longer. Pleasant place, great food, nice room and very nice green surroundings. Close to the airport too. '

'The location of the hotel was perfect with views of the harbour and the lymington sea water baths are in walking distance . The hotel has free parking ,staff are friendly and helpfull. Our room was very clean and of a high standard . There was a good selection for breakfast to suit all tastes. We had a very enjoyable stay at the Mayflower hotel.'

'The property was very clean and comfortable and the staff extremely pleasant and helpful. Just a couple of observations . If a client is using derogatory foul audible language aimed at women in the bar area they should be asked to stop by the manager/bar tender - it’s not pleasant to be subjected to this if you’re sitting quietly trying to enjoy your own drink . It would be great value & a positive accolade for a simple continental breakfast to be included in the nightly rate instead of...

'Room was basically clean bedding very fresh. Bathroom mouldy and missed soap deposits in bottom of shower. Shower rail broken and unable to take out of holder. Shower intermittently cold and scalding hot. Unable to shower properly and unable to shower the toddler after a hot and dusty day out. Parking so limited upon returning after our festival at 10.45 pm unable to park with a very tired toddler in tow. Tried to find a member of staff which took me a further 15 mins. On a positive note...

'Was onze tweede keer hier. Perfecte plek, goede keuken, fijne kamer. Zaak is recentelijk overgenomen, maar nog steeds prima. Mevrouw van het ontbijt was een absolute zonnestraal zo vroeg op de dag'

'Easy check in and room was spacious. We did have the family room for the two of us so I don’t know how spacious the regular rooms are.'
