'Sacred Stone is the worst hotel I have ever stayed. Entrance of the hotel is through a restaurant. When we reached the hotel lights of the restaurant was turned off, however we went through it and reached reception to find out no body there. After searching, one guy came out and let us checked in. Room was terrible, very small, bathroom was smaller, not possible to stand properly in front of the sink. Worst part, door was not locking. 'Great location for an overnight stay before an early trip to Machu Picchu. Short 200 ft to the shuttle bus and train station. The rooms are clean and comfortable, but basic. The staff was very helpful and friendly.'
