Boetiekhotels in Mactan Island

'Checkin is at 3pm, got there 4pm, but was checked in only after 5pm. Then the room they gave was very hot. The engineer said give it an hour as it was very hot earlier and that we close doors and minimize use of light. Still ot was very hot. If I did not call to complain and request a transfer, they would have done nothing. The hotel is outdated. The rooms are hot, the carpet in the hallways and inside the rooms smell of old carpet. 'Excellent! Beautiful location, quiet en friendly staff. The food was delicious. We went to this resort last February (2019), to vist our family in Tagbilaran for the first time. The staff was so friendly, we hadn't met friendly staff like they was before. We visited the Islands on the east side of the Mactan Island by boatrip. We also went to the Panglao Island by ferry from Cebu, keep in mind that i will take a half day to come there. Outside the resort was a lot of traffic and real Philippines...
