'Delightful, historical inn right next to Clark Island Preserve. Lovely wee walks on the shore and to the old quarry. Minimal light pollution at night allows for terrific stargazing. Rooms are on the small side, but thoughtfully designed. Included breakfast was delicious, with fresh made biscuits and a nice selection of offerings. Only slight negative is the slow WiFi, but maybe it's okay to take a break from streaming and read a book!'

'Our stay at The Inn on Shore Road was wonderful! We came for the weekend of the Fourth of July and were impressed with the property's location, hospitable staff, and its quietness. The breakfast basket pickup was amazing - such a nice, homely, and delicious touch! Housekeeping was responsive when we asked for more towels and soap, and the only negative was that the rooms are smallish - but well within range for a quaint New England beach town. We look forward to returning and again watching...

'Had an enjoyable long weekend stay in Lincolnville. The owner/host was helpful in all respects. The property was quintessential new England bed and breakfast complete with amazing breakfast and slightly squeaky stairs.
