'I liked that it was affordable for a nice room in a safe area. I was very comfortable staying there and it was especially quiet which I really liked. If I needed anything the handyman/manager was a text away. They were very responsive, accommodating and also very nice. I really enjoyed my stay there. '

'Essentially this is a room in a lovely resort on the coast of Maine. Location was excellent, amenities abound and were as described, staff was helpful and professional. But, I would not book again through this listing again. Host did not pay entire rate. I ended up paying 20% more out of pocket and spent too much of my stay trouble-shooting with the hotel receptionists/calling the host support line. 'The Lodge at Bottle Lake was the perfect place to spend a family vacation. It had everything to prepare for big meals. There were several places for people to gather and relax. The water was pristine. The owners were great at communicating with us and had everything prepared as expected. Literally no complaints. Many thanks. Highly recommend.'

'We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful, meticulous home. We had more than enough room for our party of six adults. We loved the peaceful setting and loved sitting out on the screened in deck, fishing from the dock and having use of the kayaks. The kitchen was well organized and well stocked. And the star gazing was incredible. Highly recommend this home. '

There was so many add on charges for a room at $149. dollars, that this budget motel ended up costing a little over $630. dollars for the 2 night stay.'
