Super mooi hotel en wat het mooiste is dat je buiten de zon onder kan zien gaan. Geen negatief punt voor het hotel

The Hotel is amazing. The rooms are great and you have a nice rooftop bar. Also the pool was nice and the location is perfect in the middle of the city of Makassar. Also the staff is very friendly and helpful. From the hotel you can easily take a boat trip to Samalona Island. It takes only 25 min. I would definitely recommend Swiss-bel Hotel when you are going to visit Makassar.

Nice hotel by the sea
The hotel is located next to the ocean. You can get a great view during breakfast. The hotel is good for its price!

After complaint - top service
Check in was smooth. We liked the hotel and wanted to extend our stay for one night. Had to be moved to a different category room, which was fine with us. After being told two times they will call us back in the room and transfer us to The new room still nothing happened. We waited 2 hours in our room in the end got transferred to the operator where no one picked up the phone. After I heavily complained at the reception and requested the manager to explain that this is not how four star hotels can treat their clients, things started moving. We got transferred to the new room and a dedicated person from the reception helped us immediately with all further requests and questions during our stay. Nungki was very helpful in organizing us massages in the room (which were splendid!!) and helping us to arrange our tour to Toraja. Later in the day we got a phone call from the management who wanted to upgrade our room as means of apologies for the inconveniences. I would book the hotel again; rooms were clean and showers were warm. However, Swiss hospitality standards must be looked for elsewhere.

Loudy experience at swissbel makassar
Bad experience. They changed my room and moved my stuffs without informing me. I realised only when I entered the room to find all my belonging missing. The room behind the lift is very noisy, the mechanisms of the lifts can be heard from the room. Will not stay this hotel again. Nice is good only if you stay high floor.

Hotel must be improved.
Check-In queuing took very long time, around 30mins per guest. The ocean view is good, but you must pay higher price. Balcony cannot be unlocked, so it is not useful. Cleanliness is not good, many ants on table and other insects. Breakfast is not so tasty.

Excellent sea views
I was impressed with the service during my visit which was during the fasting month and the pandemic. The room was clean and well serviced but, (and this is something that might seem trivial), the shower rose was slightly corroded and this causes a less controllable and comfortable flow of water, the same thing happens in my home. Also the dining area was quite warm. Apart from that all was good. Great ocean views on one side and Fort Rotterdam on the other.

Einchecken dauerte über eine halbe Stunde, auf Gästewünsche wurde nicht eingegangen, Zimmerschlüssel funktionierten nicht, Safe war nicht funktionsfähig, abgetragene Latschen standen zur Verfügung , Kühlschrank funktionierte nicht, an der Frühstückbar hatte es Pasta in Gläsern als Deko in welchen sich ein Mausenest und jede Menge Mausekot befand, und -mein Zimmer war im 19. Stock - eine Disco mit super lauter Musik im 20. Stock. Auf Reklamationen wurde nur mit einem Lächeln und Sorry geantwortet. Das Glas mit dem Mäusekot wurde einfach gedreht dass man es nicht mehr sieht, etc.

Very friendly hotel
Very helpful staff. Breakfast was very tasty, a wide choice, including sushi. Excellent location, next to the Lossari beach and port, from very are going boats to beautiful small islands. Our children enjoyed staing at pool. Room was spacey and city view very nice. We enjoyed our 3 days in this hotel very much.

The receptionist and lobby areas was dirty and not appealing at all. Ashamed because the view from balcony/ lobby area was beautiful, sea view. Luckily Our room was good and clean.

Well situated business hotel at a fair price
The hotel is new and nicely situated on the sea shore. Staff was very friendly and helpful, great breakfast. My room had a nice view overlooking the sea (as booked). One of my preferred eating places in Makassar, Kampung Popsa, is right around the corner within easy walking distance. I'll have to spend another night in Makassar on my way back, and I'll probably try to book there.

the room dusty; lack of amenities; i dont think that the hotel is ready though its new. at night, i could hear the beat of loud noises from next door bar/lounge. will not come back.
