'Bij inchecken ging de telefoon, de baliemedewerker nam op om te vertellen dat hij bezig was. Hij zei eerst gasten te helpen asn de balie want daar had hij mee te maken.
Ontbijt was zeer goed voor Amerikaanse begrippen. Kamer netjes maar hier en daar beetje grauw. Ik zou wel zo weer daar overnachten. Mooi uitgangspunt voor whalewatching in Monterey. '

'The double queen suite (with sofabed) that we booked was not available. Instead they offered a king suite with sofa, but that room slept only four of us, whereas we were 5. The staff couldn't care less and were not inclined to do anything. Told us Expedia was to blame. I should contact Expedia myself, which I did. In the end Expedia solved it well, no thanks to Springhill Suites.'
