Na een week doorgebracht te hebben in dit prachtige, nieuw ingerichte strandhuisje in Maushop Vilage, op steenworp afstand van het privéstrand, wilt u nooit meer naar huis en wilt u nooit ergens anders op de Kaap verblijven.

Dit onlangs opnieuw ingerichte 2 slaapkamers, 1. 5 bad cottage met prachtig uitzicht op de oceaan vanaf de beide beneden patio en boven Juliet balkon is volledig uitgerust voor een geweldige strandvakantie. De opstelling is perfect voor gezinnen met twee aparte bedden in één kamer, een queensize bed in de master en een queensize slaapbank in de woonkamer. Cottage is uitgerust met wifi, een nieuwe volledige flatscreen 42 'HDTV met extra tv's in elke slaapkamer voor die ongewenste regenachtige dagen. Met twee patio-gebieden, een met uitzicht op de oceaan, is er voldoende buitenruimte om te grillen en te spelen met de kinderen. Beide patio's hebben mooie, volle tafels en stoelen met een nieuwe Weber BBQ op het terras naast de keuken voor uw plezier. Het huisje ligt ook direct tegenover een grasveld waar de kinderen honkbal kunnen spelen terwijl de volwassenen kijken en genieten van een glas wijn vanaf hun eigen terras op loopafstand.

Het huisje werd deze winter volledig opnieuw ingericht met comfortabel meubilair in overeenstemming met het strandthema. Bovendien ligt dit huisje op slechts een steenworp afstand van het prachtige privéstrand voor inwoners en huurders van Maushop en is het slechts een korte wandeling naar de Popponeset Marketplace waar u kunt genieten van de gratis concerten van donderdag - zondag, drankjes en kreeftbroodjes in de beroemde Raw Bar, winkelen, ijs en minigolf. Voor een bredere keuze aan restaurants en activiteiten ligt het huisje op slechts een klein eindje rijden van Mashpee Commons, waar er extra winkels, supermarkten, films, bowlen en verschillende restaurants zijn, en het is binnen een half uur van zowel Falmouth en Hyannis. Het huisje heeft een privéparkeerplaats en op aanvraag zijn extra parkeerkaarten beschikbaar voor familie en gasten.

Tot slot, voor een compleet weekend op de Kaap, zijn de huuraccommodaties van zondag tot zondag, dus geen einde aan je weekendplezier.

Breng uw strandlaken, uw strandstoel mee en bereid u voor op een heerlijke, ontspannen week waarin u wakker wordt met de prachtige zonsopgangen boven de oceaan en in slaap valt met het geluid van de golven.

HI, We had a very nice time, loved the view from the patio! I will have to say that we were extremely disappointed with the WIFI! My husband had to work and was unable to ..connection was very very poor, if at all! Also, there was definitely an ant problem. We didn't use the 2nd bedroom so the sheets are clean. 1 more thing, there wasn't a blow dryer which I expected so didn't bring one . Thanks, Liz and JIm

Great location

We had a wonderful family vacation at this property. The owner was so helpful and communicative. We loved the location. We really appreciated the two minute walk to the beach and quick walk to the Poppy Market which we visited daily for morning coffees and dinner. The water views off the back patio were beautiful. Would definitely recommend!

Great location!

We loved staying at this townhouse. The setup and size worked out great for my family with two small kids. I loved sitting out and reading on the patio that overlooked the ocean. The location was amazing -just a short walk to the beautiful beach. We enjoyed biking to dinner twice and enjoying all that the Marketplace has to offer. We hope to stay again someday!

the cottage is in good clean condition but we had other issues coffee pot outdated, air conditioning not cooling the all upstairs n downstairs no air condition at all, only fan down stairs n the grill was real dirty, other then that we were pretty satisfied

Very quiet community. Beach was wonderful. Long stairs going down but we persevered. Not in any pictures or description. Comfortable beds which is very important. Everything we needed but could use some new coffee machines. Overall good experience and owner easily contacted.

Comfortable Convenient Beach Cottage

Our stay was wonderful, and we enjoyed perfect summer beach weather. Condo-style cottages. Main floor was flanked on either end with a patio w/table & 4 chairs. Open floor plan with soothing cross-breeze, fully-applianced eat-in kitchen (w/table for 4), 1/2 bath & living room w/seating for 4, TV w/xfinity service & several apps. Cape Cod beach/ocean theme throughout. Upstairs a stacked washer/dryer were smartly hidden and a full bath split 2 dormered BRs. 1 BR had a queen bed & the other had 2 twin beds, the wi-fi/internet router, and a 'portable' A/C unit that was able to keep the air cool but more importantly was effective in mitigating the oceanside humidity to allow for comfortable sleeping. A floor stand fan was available to share the cool air between bedrooms. Clothing storage was very limited. Each bedroom had an adjoining balcony but the balcony was inaccessible from the room with the AC because the exhaust ductwork was secured through the sliding door. The walk to the beach was very convenient (less than 300 steps from door to sand), but be prepared to navigate a solid staircase down the bluff w/ seating at the top and halfway down for those who might need a rest. The private beach was clean w/plenty of open sand & late July water was upper 70's. Market Square was a 1 mile walk/2min drive and offered great seafood, coffee/bakery, ice cream, pizza, candy, groceries, clothing/gifts & live music. Popponesset Inn also nearby offers upscale waterfront dining.

Renter Beware!!!!!

My husband and I rented this property for a summer get away. We were excited to spend a week on the Cape in the beautiful Mausop Village. We had rented another property here before and had a great experience until now. Upon arrival we were disappointed to find the condo dirty and grimey. The condo was not dusted, floors were not vacuumed there was dirt and grime on the tables,banisters,doors,celiling fans, baseboards and floors. The curtains were stained and moldy and there was dried up urine on the base of the toilets. I also found a medication on the bedspread, and after some research found that it was someone’s herpes medication! The host claims in her description that the property has air conditioning. What we got was a bunch of floor fans and a portable air conditioner that was useless, because the flexible hose was severely damaged. The hose was clearly duct taped back together by a previous renter or cleaner. We contacted the owner to let her know about it, and she said she didn’t know of the damage and would order a new hose immediately. Days went by, we were without air conditioning for 31/2 days and had to use the duct tape that was left on top of the refrigerator( how convenient!) to tape the hose back together and try to use it. The owner never followed up with us about it. I find that unacceptable, as the heat and humidity in the condo was unbearable making our stay even more uncomfortable.

Lovely location

We enjoyed our stay. The house was lovely with everything we needed. We loved the location and the close proxsimity to the beach. The house was clean. The AC unit is broken and on the one hot night we could not use it due to the tube being broken. I wish the listing told us it is a town home not a complete house. Neighbors are very close.

wonderful beach house get away

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, with the best part being drinking our coffee out on the balcony overlooking the ocean. The warm breeze and beautiful scenery were so uplifting. The beach house was decorated lovely. We will be back.

Relaxing Time???

This getaway was supposed to be a relaxing time for our 35th wedding anniversary/birthday. From 2 hrs in and for next 2 days, we were unable to relax because there was an issue of a sensor noise which at first we did not know how to stop. The host did respond quickly to our call but was unable to help because not in the area and unable to come to deal with issue. Due to this, we dealt with repairmen (alarm co and plumber) and piercing noise for 2 days before it was resolved and did not hear from host after 1st day. Because of this and bad weather the whole time we ended up leaving a day early just to be done with the stress and anxiety of the whole situation. Relaxing - NO! To be fair the host did refund us for 1 night. The location was beautiful...too bad we couldn't enjoy it more.

Great location

Property is in a great location. Morning coffee on patio overlooking the ocean. The unit was clean but could use some updates. Bed was very comfortable. Really enjoyed Maushop Village...and short walk to Marketplace. I think this unit is priced a bit less expensive than others which was great..and appreciated. But I probably would have been ok paying a little more for a more updated unit. Overall though, a great stay!
