'Relaxing getaway, tranquil setting and comfortable cabin. Enjoyed observing eagles, turkey, deer and incredible amount of birds. We enjoyed hours on the large deck staring at the rushing river. The cabin is adorably decorated, with luxurious linens and thock bath towels. A well stocked kitchen where we cooked all our meals. Cannot wait to return!'

'We had a super nice group of 8 college sophomores, our daughter and her friends. The yard had a great space for the lawn games we brought. The patio under the deck was great for hanging out and fire pit/grill. The lake was very accessible for swimming and kayaks. Indoors was spacious and had plenty of room for everyone to do what they wanted in small groups or all together. Very clean and felt freshly renovated. It has been well thought-out. 'Secluded, quiet idyllic area, ample space for sleeping/bedrooms available, we were 10 people, clean, game room, small-ish kitchen but fully functional, bathrooms great, hot tub great, pool closed, I loved that there is a playground for kids but we were all adults, restaurants and groceries within 10-15 minute drive, we stayed for a Spartan race at Mt. Vernon only 12 minutes away, would definitely request a stay again!'

Fishing or swimming is not allowed. Water: Smelly brown water in the house. You can’t drink it or cook with it or even take a shower. It is disguising. No heads-up about the water issue. Kitchen: The smell of dirty dishes welcomed us. It looks like the previous renters left them there. Only 4 forks and 1 knife in the house....
