'The staff are simply beautiful. All amenities are reflected accordingly in their description. New cabins being built which will be exciting for people travelling there shortly. Chef John is awesome! You MUST have his croissants for breakfast. Make sure to pat ‘Lucky’ the cat, he is adorable '

'Good resort, very clean, nice setting. Staff is lovely, their travel desk can be a bit pushy in offering only their tours (Pele island didn't exist because they didn't offer a tour to it for instance...). Thing to improve is the breakfast. Pancakes, canned fruit, Vegemite and some very dry pastries and that was it. Anything else had to be paid for.'

'Absolutely stunning jungle/ river property, lush and green. The large house is very spacious. It was comfortable in the July weather. Plenty of room and beds for our family of 6. Property is off grid so some issues with hot water that were rectified. We’re told we would have daily house keeping, which didn’t happen once, but we were ok with the washing machine. If we had asked, I’m sure it would have been provided. Accessing the tours and using the river was a highlight for our family. - no fly...

'Erg mooi hotel. Je slaapt in een huisje met een groot bed, fijne douche en een klein zwembad (bijna) voor de deur. Airco niet inbegrepen, wel bij te huren voor €10 per dag. Bij het hotel kun je een taxi met chauffeur huren voor een dag(deel) voor ongeveer €150. Wij waren met 4, dus een goede prijs. Let wel: bij alle bezienswaardigheden betaal je ‘entree’, dus uiteindelijk toch een duur grapje, maar zó de moeite waard!'

'If you're concerned about needing to ferry to and from the island constantly - don't be. The ride takes about 2mins and the boat operates constantly. The longest you'll ever wait is 5 minutes. We stayed in a waterview fare though not over the water but still excellent. Island has pools on either side as with the bars and restaurants. This means even at peak time (after Christmas) it never feels full of people. The snorkelling was surprisingly excellent, heaps of fish including clown fish despite...

'Ik heb een week in Poppy's gelogeerd, het was er prima. Dit resort ligt, zoals de naam al zegt, aan een lagune met een privéstrandje en wat strandbedjes en kajaks. Er zijn 3 zwembaden, maar op het familiebad na, stellen die niet zoveel voor, ze zijn echter wel schoon. Er zijn verschillende accommodatiekeuzes, van ruime gezinsappartementen aan het strand tot aan standaard kamer in een klein gebouw wat meer naar achteren. Ik verbleef in 1 van deze kamers, wat wel betekende dat het een pittige klim...
