'The property was very clean and the houses are very well maintained. The swimming pool was not operational. The road into the property is horrible they need to work on paving the entrance. The check in didn't go well we arrived after 5:30 pm and the office was closed and there was some difficulties getting checked in but eventually they got it straight. 'We traveled to Moms cabin from upstate NY for a family wedding in NC. It was a fabulous location, we had our 4 year old grandson with us and we were able to do morning and evening fishing which he loved! Loved the screened in porch, it was an excellent week of adventure.'

'My husband and I stayed for 1 night, had an amazing time. The portable AC worked perfect and was able to cool the entire dome despite the 90 degree heat! We enjoyed our time by the fire and eating our meals outside. The nature scenery was very serene with birds and deer passing by. The host is incredibly responsive to questions, excellent communication. We would definitely love to stay again'

'We found this little gem of a place to stay in Matthews on VRBO while visiting our daughter and grandchildren. Easy to find, perfect location, close to shopping and restaurants. It's cleverly decorated in all black and white giving it a special charm. Well stocked with necessities and very clean. property manager was very responsive! Would definitely stay again.'

'I had an awesome time in cabin #4! I enjoyed the gorgeous view of the lake and had fun paddleboarding from the marina steps away. Although I was in the water with a snake swimming close by, I felt safe with many visitors nearby. The staff on property were friendly and helpful. The Friday night movie was a lot of fun and the firepit felt cozy and welcoming. Thank you for a wonderful stay! '

'Was not happy with check in as we had asked for early check in if possible. We received a call around noon and was told the cabin would be ready for us at 2. When we got there they were still cleaning the cabin and told us it would be another 20 to 30 minutes before we could get in. Not pleased with the overall. '
