'Its a shame this hotel is branded Staybridge. I have seen a lot of Staybridge hotels, and this one is an absoluut dump. Compleet rundown place, would not be a problem if it looks like 1980, but apparently that was the last time it was cleaned. Filty bath, filthy kitchen, no water pressure, AC will kill you. Stayed 2 nights. Because of location, second day no room service. Should have handed them the keys and left first night, but the perfect location to TX tech kept me. '

The fire alarm went off in the hotel (with a blaring speaker in our room right over the bed) during the middle of the night BOTH nights we were there: for 48 minutes non-stop minutes the first night, then for a couple minutes the second night. Everyone went down to the lobby in their pajamas. Not a single announcement was made. I asked for a reason when I checked out and kindly asked if there was any compensation for the late-night...

'For this to be a newer hotel it was old looking and not maintained at all. The first room smelled of mold/mildew so we were moved to a different room. The bathtub was rusted and had mold around the tub. The housekeeping came at 9am and we were trying to get ready for my Dad’s funeral, so we asked them to come back but they didn’t. So that evening we had to ask for towels. The next day we had to ask for room service again. Just very disappointing.'
