'The guy at check in seemed really wired and kept commenting about a guest who was i guess not a guest but he was just making me uncomfortable asking me to pretend to be a cop and commenting on this guy trying to ask to get into the pool and was just being very unprofessional and took so long to help me because he seemed so agitated about that guy. It made me 100% wish i had booked somewhere else. I felt like i was in a bad hotel that was ghetto. '

'Its a shame this hotel is branded Staybridge. I have seen a lot of Staybridge hotels, and this one is an absoluut dump. Compleet rundown place, would not be a problem if it looks like 1980, but apparently that was the last time it was cleaned. Filty bath, filthy kitchen, no water pressure, AC will kill you. Stayed 2 nights. Because of location, second day no room service. Should have handed them the keys and left first night, but the perfect location to TX tech kept me. '

'Was the dirtiest place in Amarillo my bed sheets had blood on them the window had no curtains it was so bright in the room the pool was green!! '

'It was a terrible stay. The bathroom in our room was so dirty. Mens beard hair in the sink, long women’s hair on the bathroom floor. Toothpaste splatter on the counter, faucet and mirror. Dirty counter top. Our toilet paper roll had a couple of squares on it, they didn’t even bother to replace it with a new roll. When we told the front staff all they said was sorry about that and did nothing to try and make it right. All this had us questioning everything in the room. Not a good night. '

'Great price, but it seemed the most attention was to the beds. Kitchenette area needed a major update (rust on units). Very dim lighting and an incredibly small TV made it basically pointless to watch from the bed across the room. Friendly staff, but I don’t think I will stay here again. '

'We had a pretty terrible experience here and I want to warn you that you might be in for a tough go if you choose this motel. I checked in with my 7 year old and our dog. The building itself is a bit run down and the walls in the corridors are in bad repair. The room had dried dog feces in the corner. The lamp flickered constantly. The TV remote was missing. I requested a new room. In the new room, the shower was broken. The 3rd room had an unexplainable wetness on the carpet. We couldn't take...

'I didn’t use any of the amenities. Me and my husband got weird looks the moment we walked in the door. We felt really out of place. I think it was a race issue. We stayed in our room the whole time we were there unless we left the property. '

'This is a staffless row of suites across from the Pioneer Pocket hotel. You park right in front of your suite which includes a separate living area, bedroom, and bathroom. The room was clean, featured extra toiletries, and was convenient to downtown dining. This is our new favorite in Lubbock and was very reasonably priced.'
