We were very happy with this, but the stairs were a bit much for both myself and my wife as we are both in our sixties. 'Stayed with my trainer for show at GMHA. Place is lovely and clean, rooms are large, great Wi-Fi so I could do work in evenings. I don’t sleep well away from my own bed normally but the beds are really comfortable and linens and towels soft. I slept great- to my surprise. Also lots of nice places to eat nearby and close to showgrounds. Manager incredibly fast at communicating. Hope it’s available next year- we will be back!'

'The Canaan apartment is spacious and clean. The kitchen with gas stove, full size fridge and has enough counter space to cook. Having a washer and dryer in the unit is so convenient. There were plenty of towels and blankets. The apartment is convenient to pizza, gas station/handy stop, Chinese restaurant, post office and hardware store- I walked to everything. 'We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the Alpine Suite. Everything was as advertised, only better. Items needed daily from utensils to towels and extra bedding were provided. A short walk to the touristy areas around the harbor. Perfect for a short getaway in the summer.'
