'The property was well kept and clean, the checking in process however could not have been more confusing, stressful, and unprofessional. We were asked to contact the host 20mins before arrival(we did) and we sent an additional reminder to be helpful and respect her time, yet it was clear she didn’t respect ours. 'Clean room with air conditioning, shared kitchen and bathroom are also clean. That's pretty much all the advantages of this place. There is a long list of disadvantages, if you choose to stay. 1) The owner doesn't speak English. Communication is strictly Spanish only. 2) Location is not exactly convenient. 'The apartment was a bit dirty and had maintenance items, like doors and wooden panels, behind the sofa in the living room, which was unappealing. There was also considerable damage to the shower doors, room doors, and the walls of the apartment. In my opinion, they should perform a general maintenance check before renting out the property. On the positive side, the location was in the heart of Madrid, with almost all tourist attractions within walking distance.'
