Honest review - The area was lovely and eventful if you wanted it to be. Beach view was breathtaking and location was just about in the middle of everything. However, even with that being said the stay itself was nothing short or in operable conditions.
The hotel is under construction and almost none if not all of the amenities were closed. The pool was open.
The bathroom room was a nightmare. Lack of space, narrow, I kept knocking into it. In order to be inside the door was to remain either open or closed.
Upon arrival, the tub and bathroom was filthy. The tub had a ring around it and brown and unknown residue everywhere. The bathroom was also missing the light fixture. I requested the bathroom be cleaned, apparently someone attempted but it looked as though it hadn’t been touched. Also requested the sheets be changed and the same sheets from the day prior, still had the stains it did when we arrived.
The worst part, in the middle of the night and day we would be attacked by gnats. They woke us up in the middle of the night got into our food. Which we had no where to store our food and because we were not notified the fridge wasn’t working nor was there a microwave.
I’m not one for a fuss so I’m like maybe I should just request another room but they were booked up and all sold out. I spent over 2000$ on that room. I wouldn’t care if I spent 500$. With no accommodations or help ? Unacceptable.
Apparently Veterans discount was applied but I see no evidence.
