'I would highly recommend the alander. The room was large, clean and we had a great stay. Reid and Jason were great. The restaurant was very good as well.'

'We expected a room with a tub, but the last available room didn’t have one. The room available was very pricey for its size. We decided not to stay. The highlight of our time was interacting with Jenna at the desk, she was extremely kind and very professional. Based on our experience with her we will consider returning on another occasion. We mainly wanted to have one night away, as we live close and our wedding anniversary is this weekend.'

'The location is a great escape. The forests and lake are beautiful. The Lodge has an outdoor center onsite. The food is tops! They take very good care of you. It’s a special place.'

'Room was not very clean. We had a mouse running around one night! The porch area outside of our room was dirty. Some of the staff acted like they didn't want to be bothered. Food at the lodge was expensive! We won't be staying here next time we are in the area. On a positive note, the main building was clean. There was music and a great view from the main porch.'
