'Beautiful location, would stay again'

'This property is situated in a beautiful marina with excellent facilities. Guests staying at the Lodge can also enjoy complimentary golf, which was a great bonus. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return. The only drawback was that the Wi-Fi service was somewhat inconsistent.'

'We came in the off season and the place was empty. We were the only guests the entire weekend. The bar and restaurant were not open and there was no staff on site. As such there was no continental breakfast as listed. It was quiet at night and heard birds singing in the morning which was nice. 'The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The sofa bed did not have a very good mattress, so consider that when planning for extra people. Also, trying to get in the door was an experience. It took several attempts to figure out how that worked as well as how to lock it. There should be better instructions, and a reminder to hold the door tightly closed when locking or it won't engage. Booking through Expedia was ok, but was a bit misleading, as we thought we were getting a river view, however,...
