'Step out of franchise and discover a 1910 brick built structure that has all the charm and details of an Abbeville historical treasure. The clean room included a quilt covered bed that was comfortable, and the room included refrigerator and microwave. The best part was continental breakfast on a lovely veranda. The site is its original center of downtown, so don’t expect gardens…but I was sad to leave the over-stuffed wicker chair and resume my trip home.'

'My regular stop driving back to Florida from NYC . Easy access off 95 back ride up to your room. Rooms are spotless very nice restaurant on the property other options nearby Pizza Hut, Waffle House, Starbucks, huddle house and the number of others. Breakfast is excellent coffee 24 hours eggs bacon waffles cereals. Staff is always welcoming. 'Positive: spacious room, quiet and the staff is very friendly. Negative: the toilet does not flush properly, little water pressure on the shower head, towels were missing. Not everything in the breakfast room was replenished quickly. Took a long time for the bread to be replenished. Cards did not work when we arrived at our room and had to be reactivated.'

'This is a hotel that's really a model if the old Howard Johnson motels that if you're over 60 remember well. Not pretty but has a great personality. It's perfectly fine for a night's stay during a long trip. It's clean, safe, comfortable, and fairly priced. If you're looking for luxury (which I'm not) move on... spend more and get candies on your pillow. I could care less about the candies. It's my 4th year staying here on my annual trip north/south and I have no intention of changing. And the...
