The room was small but not cramped and was furnished in keeping with the hotels decor. There was a birthday party taking place in the evening but the staff were quietly efficient and spent an appropriate time to check us in. If there is a downside it has to be the car park. 'Mijn enige minpunt is dat de lift het niet deed en diegene die ins incheckte wilde niet eens de moeite nemen om te kijken of we een verdieping lager konden verblijven. We hadden de tweede verdieping en ik ben slecht ter been wat ik had vermeld. Beetje veel jammer. Bij de check out was een lieve blonde dame'

'We had big problems when we arrived at 18.00 hrs; it lasted about 1 hr before the host arrived for the check in. The reason was that the Flying Bull closes on Sunday at 17.00 hr and we were asked to contact by telephone, but our efforts unfortunately failed. We had to ask help from Expedia, but a leaving guest could help us at last. Anyhow the room and brakfast were at least satyfying.'

'We loved our stay at Rose and Crown! The staff were so friendly. Our room had so much character, and was bigger than we would have expected.
