'I had the end room at the end of the main floor. My door directly faced the back door exit that wasn’t secured. Anyone or anything could enter and exit at anytime. The gap under the door was significant enough for anything to crawl in but fortunately it was only the smoke from various smoked items. Cars parked right outside my window within inches The beds were hard and there were silver fish in the bathroom. I only had to stay one night but for the rate, I could’ve stayed at the wilderness...

'Check-in was slow on a Wednesday early evening… But the woman at the desk was very nice and helpful and apologetic. A couple of things I was surprised about was how old the room was, and I’ve never been in a hotel without a coffee maker before, even a cheap one would’ve been nice. The shower and sink situation was very unconventional and not ideal when splitting the room with my teenage son. 'Breakfast room was a bit dirty, some mold in bathroom. Rooms were very humid and should have a dehumidifier. Pool and hot tub were nice'

'I booked a king suite with jetted tub. Immediately upon entering the room the deep smell of cigarette use permeated the room. There were two chairs in the suite part of the room that were severely worn and old and large areas of stains on the carpeting. Walking into the bedroom section the cigarette use smell only worsened although there was an attempt to mask the smell with heavy air fresheners, to no effect. 'Quiet in the DELLS is hard to find but this was perfect. Busy with families and groups but very family oriented and peaceful. The rooms are the ultimate quiet. We never heard a neighbor or doors slamming or kids running. We will stay again'

'Rented 5 rooms for family. Everything was perfect except that all 5 room floors were dirty. Walking on the floors turned everyone’s (17 people) feet black. Recommend providing each room with a broom and dustpan to sweep up the sand that gets tracked in. Rooms were clean otherwise. Plenty of towels. Beds were comfortable. 4 pillows per bed. All 5 families said they would definitely stay again.'

'Free kayaks to use Grills were being worked on but one was working Fridge was froze up but replaced it same day. Didn't care for geese and ducks on the beach. We didn't go into the water at all.'
