'So thrilled to have found this little gem. Needed an overnight stay near Monmouth, we stayed on Boxing Day evening, with our dog. Beautiful room , We ate in the bar, food first class. I imagine we will pay another visit if in the area. '

'To my surprise was the only guest during my stay. The hosts were kind and considerate. The room is small but tidy and in well maintained condition. Separate shower which is a bit basic but sufficient, the bathroom is en suite though. There is also a drawing room which you share with a lodger, a bit old fashioned but still nice. Breakfast gives you a choice between continental and full English breakfast in a very nice room. '

'We thought it was a peaceful location but it was a shame it rained most of the time. Jeremy is an excellent host. We rented over Christmas and even set up a Christmas tree with lights.'
