'Louie greeted me upon my arrival and gave me a rundown of the property. He was friendly and answered all my questions. He even showed me so much of his art collection! Louie is a wonderful host. I would've loved to talk to him more. I only stayed one night since I was just passing through Akron. I have added The Berrodin Bed & Breakfast to my list of good stops!!'

'We have come here before. The property is well maintained, smells fresh and clean. All of the staff were helpful and kind. The pool is huge and a great amenity along with some games outside, seats and an on site restaurant. The location is great, lots of things to choose to eat or shop. The rooms are spacious and had a dining table with two seats. It’s very cozy and family friendly. The hotel does do aquatics classes, so earlier in the morning until about 11am the pool can be a bit crowded. We...

'The hotel looked run down and smelled bad. Room door didn’t function properly. Laundry room was disgustingl. Room appeared clean but hair still in shower. Fridge felt as if it was going to tip over. It was very wobbly.ice bucket looked dirty'

'I did feel like safety was a big concern here and they did well with that. However I feel like they don’t trust the guests and maybe there’s reasons why. But I had to ask for ice and the desk guy had to get it. It was like a clump of chizzled ice that really did no good for me. There was absolutely nothing at the breakfast I could eat. On. Good note, the room was clean.'

'Our stay was great because it was clean and staff was friendly and professional. The area seemed to be suburbanize (landscape was rural with some areas pristine and serene!) The pool was clean and temperature was perfect! The only fault I saw was the water line on the bathroom door. My husband thought they may have had a flood in the past, but it didn't interfere with the cleanliness of our room/bathroom. Yes, we will stay here when we return to visit the family!'

'Upon check in, I was given a room with a malfunctioning AC, I spoke with the gentleman at the desk and recieved a new room without issue after his attempt to fix the unit didn't work and resetting the unit a few more times myself didn't get it to stay on. Overall, It's what you'd expect of a Days Inn near Akron. Good enough for a night or two, property in relatively good shape but definitely still has the same characters and abandoned vehicles you'd find at any other urban days inn. Overall...

'Could have been cleaner. There were about 30 kids who ran up & down the hall yelling all evening. By 11:30 I had to call front desk. All this noise continued for another hour. Had to be at Cleveland Clinic next morning at 6:45.'

'Clean room and helpful staff. Plenty of parking and seemed safe. Breakfast good. Room okay but walls thin and husband slept poorly due to mattress. Could use new flooring in elevator and entry area'

'Rooms were GREAT, the staff was GREAT, breakfast was GREAT. Pool was under renovation so can not speak to that. ONLY negative thing I have to say is the TV guide - impossible to use, they offer lots of channels but good luck on actually finding something to watch via the guide - ended up endlessly scrolling channel by channel to see what was on.'

'Room was clean. Outside of hotel had a lot of garbage. $50 charge in case of issues pended immediately to card. Usual for high end but not this type of hotel. Location away from everything but I was attending a wedding down the road. No UBER available. Tried twice for half hour.'
