'This the perfect place for a family vacation in the middle of the beautiful Collegiate peaks. The cabin was wonderful for large gatherings. We comfortably slept 9 adults with room for more. It was very clean and right in the middle of fishing, white water rafting, hiking trails and very close to snow skiing. We couldn’t have asked for a better place. The owner was so responsive with ideas for groceries, restaurants and hiking trails. We had a wonderful time.'

'It was cute and perfectly located. The house was the perfect size for hanging out with friends. Two little critiques, all the big wood blinds were very dusty. The pillows were almost non-existent. The two coffee machine options was GREAT!'

'The place is cozy and spacious at the same time. We felt spoiled with three balconies, a stunning view of the river, a well-equipped kitchen, and a spacious downstairs to hang out in. Some minor funky things: the upstairs couch has a black hole in the center-- you will sink deeper than you expect. The fridge water dispenser and the sink both were hard to get to turn off intermittently. Overall, those were minor dents in an otherwise fantastic experience. The location is lovely, about a 10...

'This property was an excellent choice for our whole extended family who came to town for a ski week at Monarch. The place has plenty of spaces for everyone to sleep and the separate suite was great for my in-laws to be able to have a bit more quiet while the rest of the kids (ages 7-13) ran around the main house. We have stayed here before with other friends and we are very likely to be back again!'

'A cute original mining home updated and conveniently located 2 blks from downtown Salida. It was our base for a two-week stay and the host(ess) answered any requests promptly. We walked from the house to shop, eat, drink and hike nearby trails along the river. The owners live next door and both properties are well kept.'

'This was our second time staying at River Haven. This is the perfect spot for our annual MTB trip.BV trails are just a few miles away and Salida's trails are about 25min. The hot tub and fire chimenea down by the river are some highlights. We hope to be back next year again. Thanks!'

'We had a great time at this house! The furniture inside supports a nice Mid-century look which works well for the renovation style. Lovely back patio with plenty of space. Nice fenced back yard for the dogs to safely romp. No real road noise concerns, even for the room in front of the house. We would definitely rent this house again!'
