'This hotel with a history offers great surroundings near Saranac lake, spacious, modern and clean family rooms, and friendly staff for a reasonable price. During our 3 week trip in July through north east of USA and Canada we planned to stay here for 2 nights but decided to stay an extra night. We were very lucky with the weather ( 75 -82 F) but heard the winter period lasts long and is tough.'

'Very flexible! We had nowhere to board our dog and it was actually less expensive to have her come with us! I called the day prior to let them know, they thought they may have to switch us rooms but they kept us in the same room and gave her all the pampering in the world! We were very fortunate to have chosen such a beautiful and accommodating resort.'
