'Beautiful small boutique hotel in gorgeous La Jolla. Perfect place to stay. Walking distance to shops, restaurants and the beach!'

'Prima voor 2 nachten. Niet speciaal.'

'Ugh. We stayed two days for a wedding at La Valencia and booked a suite. We are SD natives and my husband grew up in LA Jolla. It was located a bit away from the front desk and up a steep portion of a hill with stairs. Tough to navigate in a gown and heels and a workout with all our bags to get to valet when leaving. Be sure to plan some time for the valet to get your car. The room is VERY dated and the layout needs to be better thought out. Wear socks on the carpet! Our neighbors room service...

'Excellent staff and location!'

'Hele ruime kamer met keuken. Wel een stukje lopen naar strand en de Sea lion Cove. '

'Dit is echt een leuk hotel op een geweldige plek. La Jolla is helemaal te gek. Het is wel erg duur en dat is normaal in deze regio.'

'Wonderful location, poor service old hotel. No senior management in sight'

'Echt goed hotel op top locatie'

'There were several negative experiences that made the stay overall not great. For starters our room did not have hooks for towels and the inside of one of our robes was covered in some dark brown stains. Additionally the staff was very curt and not courteous in general. We didn’t receive as much as an apology for this. I...

'We stayed in room 808, 2 bedrooms/2 bathrooms. I knew the room was only accessed by stairs. Part of the stairs did not have a handrail (assuming because of construction) When checking in, the very nice desk clerk said it was stair access only, and there were two weddings that weekend, so music will be playing loud until 10pm, & the room was an older room with decor from the 70's. There are 92 steps to get to room 808. Doesn't count for the short pathways between stairs (117 total steps if...

'Very friendly staff, it’s a great hotel right on PB with tons of restaurants and bars on the walk!'

'Nice and friendly discovery'

'Perfect for business travel'

'Prijs kwaliteit niet fantastisch; mooie plek, mooie views, echter: restaurants procesmatig, kamer gehorig, lange gangen. Wel goed: yoga klas, fietsverhuur, mooie omgeving. Daarom 4 sterren '

'Perfect location for a beach getaway. Staff were lovely'
