'As a returning guest I was again not disappointed by this fabulous set up on the river. Everything we needed, great space to spend with the whole family, from the 1 yo to the 60 yo. The high chair and kids toys, games, colouring and cutlery make such a difference. The pizza oven a hit. Glorious views from the kitchen and balcony. A great base for us visiting Monarto and paddle steamer cruise. Will definitely come again.'

'Very nice place to stay. The boat was very well equipped with everything we needed. All of us caught lots of carp that we had to kill first of course, then fed to a pelican which was fun. Fed the pair of black swans that came round each evening with cornflakes as internet said that was OK. to feed them that. Very quiet moored spot on the river. Highly recommend this boat for a holiday that is so relaxing. Host is lovely and supplies all the information you need for this wonderful getaway.'

The inside decor is a bit dated but still very comfy and a great hot shower!! Loved our second stay - We will be back!'

'Host was very accommodating however the property description doesn't match reality. Cooking was via a shared barbecue, washing up needed to be done in the bathroom vanity and the restaurant was closed. Most meals required a 20 minute drive to Nairne...or slightly further to Mt Barker. It would be OK for an overnight stay or weekend if you wanted to travel around the Adelaide Hills. Longer stays are very difficult.'

'The most unique part was the seeing the sun rise through the window, framed by the branches in the trees. The peace and quiet of the location and the simplicity of just cabin and nature was wonderful. Communication to us was great, and the facility and preparations were spot on.'

'Longview is what you call a hidden gem. Let's start with the basics. Rooms are spacious. Have a full equipped kitchen. Wifi is free. Room comes with breakfast which is already in the room upon arrival. Egs, bread,Orange Juice, bacon, cheese, milk, cereal, tomatoes. Selection of tea and coffee for in a french press.
